Dover are still in the play off hunt... Yep - that's looking like sneakily tricky fixture. They may be out of it by the time we get there mind

In general a decent day for us I think.
Both our rivals had home games against sides they would have expected to beat and one of them slipped up. That's a good result especially as Barnet look like having a more difficult set of fixtures ahead of them than Grimsby do. I still think Monday could be our biggest chance to get our noses in front. We're playing a part time side who have had days less rest than we have, who are on a poor run and who have little to play for. If you could handpick an away fixture you'd struggle to pick a better one plus we had relatively easy run out. Barnet have a trickier game, are coming off a nervous presumably pretty draining match and have a days less recovery time. I'm not sure the comparative fixture will be more in our favour between now and the end of the season. Also, now we know if we take care of business we don't have to worry about Grimsby.

Sounds like Nuneaton made Barnet work for the points, hopefully there'll be some fatigue on Monday. Also, Dartford have picked up a couple credible draws in their last two games... here's to a third. Wishful thinking!

Of the sides outside the play offs, only Eastleigh can overtake us on points and FGR can match us. Woking can match us as well.
So, a win on Monday assures us of a play off spot

The way I look at it is, if we had won 1-0 yesterday and Barnet 5-1 today I would be thinking they had the upper hand, as the results were around the other way ,I reckon Barnet are getting a bit tense and that will be their downfall. really need all three at Kidderminster and that will really turn the screw !

Well yes but 99/00 (and 93/94 for that matter) taught me never to take these things for granted!

Sad about Telford.Friendly, good crowds ,nice stadium.Only a short drive for me but as we're going up anyway,it doesn't really matter.

So glad Barnet won rather than Grimsby as Barnet have, arguably, the most difficult run-in. Here's my predictions:
Rovers: Finish on 93 pts 35 GD 1st Kidderminster 0-2 Rovers Rovers 3-1 Southport Dover 0-1 Rovers Rovers 3-0 Alfreton
Barnet: Finish on 89 pts 45 GD 2nd Dartford 0-3 Barnet Barnet 0-1 Halifax Kidderminster 1-2 Barnet Barnet 1-1 Gateshead
Grimsby: Finish on 89 pts 38 GD 3rd Alfreton 1-3 Grimsby Grimsby 2-2 Wrexham Southport 0-2 Grimsby Grimsby 3-0 Aldershot

Decent set of results. Hopefully Barnet will come unstuck Monday and we can take advantage

I think you may win but I guarantee it won't pan out that way!

Too true, today getting a point at home to Gateshead felt almost like a victory. Very exciting end to the season and one of three - probably if I was betting I would go for Rovers - but hoping for town. May the best team win. (As long as it's fish-shaped).

Really ought to be beating Gateshead at this stage of the season....lucky you have Craig Disley. As he is a Gashead we may not renew his Membership now!

Yeah, however, there is a certain quality of non-league football which is quite refreshing. Changing ends at half time - clubhouses that are welcoming. Basically a lot of 'real' football stuff. it's not as bad as we would like to believe really. But, hope we are both out of it next season for sure.
