What happened then? Apparently the people in the know on here were adamant he was coming here...

Believe it or not, it turns out Keith Chimp does in fact, chat out of his ass. More on this as it develops. Back to you in the studio, Nick.

Everyone knew Keith Chimp was a wind-up accounr right? Quite clearly an absolute chancer whose taking the pish. However you'll be surprised just how many people on fb/twitter take him as a genuine source and someone properly connected to the club. Makes you want to give up on humanity.

I'm gutted about this. It means the squeaky dwarf will still be on Points West.

Please can someone ITK state categorically that there was no real prospect of GJ coming to Rovers.

Please can someone ITK state categorically that there was no real prospect of GJ coming to Rovers. I can only assume he might have been considered if we were only mid table or fighting relegation (oo'er that put a shiver up my back ). There cannot have been any realistic consideration of him coming in at this time of the season bearing in mind our present position but who knows what goes on in the Board Room they sure aren't going to let on to us lot are they ?

Please can someone ITK state categorically that there was no real prospect of GJ coming to Rovers. You mean there are really people in the know on here. I thought GoD no longer posted.

My neighbour's ex boyfriend's former housemate knows Nick's cousin's dog walker.
Johnson in the summer is nailed on, and he's bringing Steve Coppell as DoF, Sean O'Driscoll as head of youth, Brian Tinnion as assistant and Scott Murray as kitman.
Oh and Captain Gas is being replaced by Gassy the blue robin.

Please can someone ITK state categorically that there was no real prospect of GJ coming to Rovers. As he's only been appointed Cheltenham Town manager until the end of the season, we can't possibly rule it out . . . or in for that matter.

Like everything else - it depends what happens on May 14 and maybe even May 17th

Does it ? Whatever happens can't see why we would have any interest in changing a management team who have got us as close as we are at the moment.

Attracted by the stature of the mighty Eastleigh compared to BRFC or driven out by the "poisonous" club that is BRFC, who gave him his first chance in management and retained him after relegation (which he has the grace to mention recently).
Plus no-one will be interested in managing us if he goes? Joe watching us on Good Friday, Osman still has a house in Bristol, Johnson a junction away from Cribbs, Penrice sniffing for a return to football, Olly (possibly) contemplating a Rovers Return and retirement home near Bath, Dowie getting itchy feet, Yeates out of work and up the road.
Let's all panic, shall we? I remember how terrified City fans were when Cotterill took over.
BTW - Where's Warnock these days?
