I can this thread getting out of hand already, yet again certain individuals embarrassing themselves. You can see them at home, waiting, begging for a disappointing result to come in so they can jump on their computers and tear everything apart. Always easier to criticise than get behind the side until the very end.

Give Clarke a ten year contract. Bloke is a genius. Irony at its best. Bottler.

Not seen anyone take the wind into consideration, this had some impact on the difference between the two halves.

Drawing away on a poor pitch in bad conditions against the team in 4th is not a bad result, unfortunately though at this time of the season it is all about wins. That is our trickiest game left done, 5 very winnable games and Mansell back on Friday. Barnet and Grimsby both more likely to have a dodgy result than we are - lets get it to the last day and see what happens.

I never thought he was up to it & I still don't. I see a man who talked a great game but got scared of getting sacked and so became very Ward like. He promised attacking set up with wingers. He sets up uber defensively and stifles any creativity. Just my opinion. I don't wait for bad results but have my own opinion. I honestly don't believe any real fan would do that.

I don't believe that performance today was acceptable. I believe that despite our league position we have consistently underperformed. I don't believe that Clarke is much further forward in solving the issues that have been evident from the first game of the season, any beyond, with the midfield and attacking positions.
I actually resent seeing articles on the Post website and posts on here praising Clarke for turning things around when he hasn't. Barnet and Grimsby win today and it's slipping away, and deservedly so.

No need to make excuses, it's the same for both sets of players and we should be winning these. It will be play offs. This will turn out pivotal I believe. We have lowered our expectations so much that now we make excuses for this. No wonder the board have it their way.

Who is doing the better job out of John Askey and Darryl Clarke?

We have no right to be winning these games automatically, we werent good enough on the day and we move on. Chester Friday, and then Barnet have 2 games in less than 48 hours. Lets see what happens.

DC pre match interview told us all exactly how it was going to be, we werent going to throw everything at them from the start in fear of going 1 down. Over season he has done a good job, but today i think he must admit this was our chance to make intentions clear that we wanted to win the win the league but we never gave ourselves a chance. There has been far too many draws this season as a result of there being a mentality that a point away is good, it is obvious that in this league you cant afford to draw that many as other teams in the chase will go and beat the teams you drew with. Performance from players were average at best for some today unfortunately, some couldnt pass the ball 5 yards... Come on DC there is low chance of falling out the playoffs so give it our best to attack from the off, nothing to be afraid of.

Come on let's be more positive.Hmm.............nice yellow kit uh....We got a point and um well parkes didn't get sent off. Actually Gas have not progressed one bit from the first game Grimsby at home. We still need a creative midfielder a proper winger and two strikers. Obviously our non league manager hasn't realised that yet and we have to be satisfied with a Salisbury City player just when we need a bit of quality. Why do you all put up with this. This is a very very poor Rovers team . Somebody must take over the playing side of this once proud club whether we go up or not. 5 more games with Clarke here is enough for me. The best of a poor squad were those already here before Clarke took over.No. arguments about that is there. Says everything. Gary we are waiting ! Gary?

I'd send Dawson back to Leicester after that, i thought Balanta was woeful, Dawson took it to another level. Leadbitter was superb, defensively he is as good as Michael Smith and i thought he looked good going forward and on the ball. Puddy seems to have a million times more confidence that Mildy has had in recent weeks, Monkhouse was poor, Lockyer is never a midfielder has no composure on the ball it will cost us big time if he plays there again, Easter & Taylor worked hard, but a point is better than none, horrible place to go, that pitch was awful and the wind made things difficult. 5pm easter monday we will know if there is any chance of winning the league. Very good summary. The main players didn't turn up today - maybe nerves? Very little overlapping by Brown today was disappointing. The one bright spot was the performance by Puddy BUT a point is a point and it could be the all important point

Maybe it was just me, but he made a few routine saves, one very good one, but looked dreaful when kicking out and then almost gave a goal away at the end with a poor kick. I would have Mildenhall back in on Friday.

The performance from Rovers and certain individuals was poor, very poor. With the worst midfield I can ever remember there wasn't much hope from me for a Rovers win and wasn't expected. Macclesfield were quicker off the blocks and closed us down well but we were clueless with no shape or plan. Moving very quickly on.

I think it's a disgusting performance,we don't even seem to want it! That is down to one person, setting out to primarily defend. Ward much ?
