Isn't the ground capacity around the 10,500 mark now the West Side tent's gone? Regardless apart form 500(?) extra on the away terrace where could 3,000 fit, the gate must have surely been over 8,500? Regardless it was a cracking crowd particularly given all the traffic problems in Bristol last night, also good to see a big crowd was rewarded with a decent performance for a pleasant chance. No the ground capacity was never affected by the 'West side tent' the Blackthorn End was just reduced by however many the tent accommodated around 500/600 and the ground capacity remains around 11,987 'ish.

If we need the win to win the league last game will we see the most ever rovers fans at the mem as we've got the away terrace? What an amazing day that would be.Can't bear to even think about it .Won't be able to drive back to Stafford as i'll be too sloshed so will have to stay in Totterdown with my Auntie Myra.

How does the club work out how many are in the ground, anyone know ? Season tickets are always counted as being in attendance, early bird tickets are then added plus the complimentary tickets and any other pre sold tickets. What I'm not sure of is how they count cash payers on the night, I assume the turnstile operators make a record of how many cash payers come through and hand a piece of paper in to an official who then adds it all up and hey presto we have the number in attendance ! There have been a number of times when I've wondered if the official attendance is correct and last night was one of them. You only have think about how much the 50/50 prize money was in total to question the number in attendance i.e. 1st prize was £943, 2nd prize was £100. Previous amounts raised equate roughly to £100 per thousand in attendance. Now I'm not saying there were 10,000 there but the figures and the apparent few spaces around the ground give the suggestion that there might well have been more than 7,416 there last night ! I mean do you think we could have got another 4,500 in to reach ground capacity ? When the turnstile turns, it turns the clicker round. I believe that each set of turnstiles is then totalled and then all those pieces of paper get totted up.

I recon men attendances are always understated by between 500 and 1000, depending on crowd size. Remember twerton - that was always 3500, even if we were playing Liverpool in the cup! That's very true. It was a standing joke amongst those where I stood, we always blamed it on the club trying to save on their VAT payment. It didn't seem to matter how big (or small) the crowd appeared to be, the attendance was usually quite low.

I waited for a record 20 mins to get half time hot drink never waited so long in all the years I have been going to the Mem. They need more staff to serve customers.

The staff in the cabin at the south stand end of the west enclosure are spectacularly bad in so many many ways. So much so that sometimes I wonder if, for some reason it's deliberate. Eastleigh game there was a debacle about people buying bottled water - at one point one guy had to down it in front of the old dear serving but by the time he'd finished it she'd forgotten the reason she was doing it was to take the bottle back off him so he might aswell have just been let drink it on the terrace. (Why sell bottles?) Frequently get tea made with water not yet boiled. Service is slow. None of them can apparently do basic mental arrhythmic. Awful. Just awful staff.

I always think that when all the seats are sold and the only gaps are on the east terrace, we have over 8,000: Like last night

My cup of tea was absolutely scalding last night. Took at least 40 minutes to even begin to drink it...
