Sounds like last weeks performance was more disappointing than the result itself. Well that was last week and this is now... the signing of Chris Lines has given a boost to Gasheads and I think it will be the same for the team. We need to get back to winning ways but I'd take a draw today so it's a 1-1 prediction from me. COYB!!

8 games to go with a chance of winning the league but it isn't in our hands. Why would anyone be happy with a point? We need 3! Come on you yellows

Silly predictions really piss me off. So for me a more realistic result will be
Halifax 0 Rovers 6

Hope dc does not risk Easter on that pitch he could bee a very important player still for us but not on a ploughed field think we will have to grind out a result today big physical side bad pitch rubbish weather

Should be an interesting time.
Few familiar faces turning out for Halifax. Ex loanee Matt Glennon who I recall had a mega goal kick.
Economist Adam Smith.
Political (ex) (alledged) sleazebag David Mellor.
Halifax is a town of 80,000 or so. Smaller than Cheltenham, where the men look like real-life Toby Jugs and all the women have that sweet-pastry meat pie breath, I'm sure we can eek out a win. My money is on a 3-0 victory with Easter (2) and Lines getting on the score sheet.

Gas win by the odd goal.... How odd will this goal be? Are you planning on borrowing a beach ball from a Scouser?

Rovers: Mildenhall, Leadbitter, Lockyer, McChrystal, Parkes, Brown, Clarke, Mansell, Lines, Monkhouse, Taylor.
Substitutes: Puddy, Dawson, Balanta, Harrison, Easter.
Looks quite short of width to me! Although maybe fair enough with the state of the pitch. No idea what formation we are going with there.

So glad we have a manager who plays two up-front.

Nil Nil.Very little up front but superb defensive line up.Think the subs will play a big role to-day and suspect late in the game Easter will make an appearance.Surprised Clarke is starting .Impressive bench.

Monkhouse upfront? My concern is that neither him nor Taylor are the typical goal getters. We have a lot of pace on the bench. I think players are more likely to get injured if they come on and chase a game when we're losing than if they start, put three goals in the net, then afford the manager the luxury to replace them with a Jamie-Lucas type youngster.
Hope this doesn't backfire but I would have played Harrison, Balanta and Easter instead of Taylor, Monkhouse and Clarke.
So it's 3-5-2 then and not to get too rattled if we are not winning by half time as we have more firepower in store than a chemist who's just received their annual order of Viagra.
