2015 Easter Cup. Call for nominations.

I am calling for nominations to participate in the Easter Cup Prediction’s League. Each participant is free to enter a maximum of 2 teams. Entries close on Thursday 12 March 2015 at Midnight. The draw for the first round will be made on Friday 13 March 2015 and the first round will be played on 14 March 2015.

For those not familiar with the Cup competitions in the Predictions League, there is no difference to your weekly prediction process. Just predict the scores for that week as usual. Prior to the games, you will be randomly drawn against another predictor and whoever scores more points that weekend will be the winner of the tie and progress to the draw for the next weeks ties.

In the event of a draw, the winner will be the team whose prediction of goals scored is closest to the actual goals scored in 5 of the games for the week, which are randomly selected and listed as the penalty shootout games at the time of posting the weekly games.

If it is still a draw then a coin toss will decide the winner. The Home team (first named in the tie) is allocated Heads, whilst the Away team (second named in the tie) is allocated Tails. In the event that one of my teams is involved in a coin toss, another member of the Predictions League will perform the coin toss.

Points in the Prediction league are awarded as follows:

Correct result and correct score, 2 points.
Correct result and incorrect score, 1 point.
Incorrect result 0 points.

In Rovers and City games.

Correct result and correct score, 4 points.
Correct result and incorrect score, 1 point.
Incorrect result 0 points.

If Rovers and, or City are not playing in Weeks fixtures, a random game will be selected for the bonus point game.
