The day Clarke got found out. Totally inept. 20 league games unbeaten and then losing 2-0 at home with 20 minutes to go doesn't add up to 'found out' for me
Pessimist Gas.....
What a ridiculous post.... time to put your red nose back on, big shoes and squirty flower .... The Ringmaster is calling in the Clowns !
Best team won today .... was always a very tough game and we were outwitted !
Some appalling phone in comments to Twentyman now being read out .... Madness!!

Dire.
Have got away with similar performances any number of times this season, today the good fortune ran out.

Terry just a moment ago is a complete joker. ''If we play as bad as we have the last 3 games at home we won't even make the play offs'' Improvement is needed and will come. I will streak the first game of next season if we don't at least make the play offs this season.

all i can say is thank you fgr, really must do better unless we fancy the play offs UTG I think a few chickens came home to roost today. I know we`ve been on a long unbeaten run, but having witnessed quite a few of those games, I think we`ve ridden our luck. Today was a poor performance, aided and abetted by the fact that we have some poor players. Monkhouse is nowhere near good enough to be involved with a team hoping to go up automatically. And as for Blisset, words fail me. An appalling signing. Lockyer is like a fish out of water in midfield. And with every substitution that Clarke made today, the team became more disjointed and unbalanced. I`m not confident for the run in.

Really poor again - and agree with the comments above - we got what has been coming for the past few home games. That said I thought DC was spot on in his post match interview - and the team needs to put this behind them. Also said we hoped to strengthen early next week. Lockyer and Mansell together in centre mid are simply not quick enough to do that role so assume some cover there will be forthcoming. Made Stanley look dynamic.......

We were out fought and out thought today, How did Blisset play so well against us for Kiddy? Balanta is skilful seemed the only player able to control the ball at his feet today but looks so slow.
Two players we sacked enjoyed upsetting our rhythm namely Stanley & Pell
Things don't bode well for the next 8 cup finals
as its been said we are so lucky Barnet are imploding too.

After giving away a soft ''gift'' goal after less than 10 minutes, it was always going to be difficult for us today. Shame really, particularly after attracting such a good crowd. However, looking at the positives we are still top of the table thanks to Barnet slipping up. Are they on the slide do you think? But the pack is closing in on us, Grimsby and FGR are looming large but our destiny is still most definitely in our own hands. Time for us to ''man up'' and move on, but definitely an opportunity missed today. Typically Rovers though, never ever do things the easy way.

You'll have to beat Barnet if you wanna make play offs so that's good for us. Credit to your team in the art of conning ref, diving, play acting, time wasting and all the things in football that is bad. Such a shame really, as I thought you were genuinely better than us today without all that. You were first to the ball, strong, anticipated our moves and took the game to us. Plus, you made your support heard. Safe journey back, because I like genuine banter and you play teams in the mix. We were poor, our passes never met their man, crossing woeful and second ball winning non existent. Fair result no complaints about that..

I haven't been convinced by Rovers performances either,I keep reading "I don't care how crap we play as long as we win",that cant continue long term. I don't think its Clarkes fault though, limited resources. Did they buy Blissett because of his performance against Rovers,if that's the case I am surprised Torquay didn't buy Gosling. There are some poor players and whether we go up or not they need to be replaced,I don't know how though and the longer Rovers stay down the harder it will be to attract better players, also the support will gradually wither away. I have thought since the end of last season that they need a creative midfield player. Sorry to be so negative, but todays result was always going to happen sooner or later, their luck ran out, lets hope they can cobble enough wins together out of the remaining games.

That may be true, but it was the way in which the goal was conceded that I was referring to. Not the first one like that this season neither.

Hang on - wasn't there today and no doubt it may have been a terrible performance. But I was at the Lincoln game and we never looked like losing and controlled most of the game. We also have an amazing defensive record which is nothing to do with luck. Of course todays result was always going to happen sooner or later unless we were going to stay unbeaten forever, but taking it as evidence that all our previous results were based on luck is ridiculous.

Lets not paper over the cracks that was a shocking team performance; I really cannot believe BRFC paid money for Blissett. I am pleased to hear Clarke is bringing in at least one player next week, lets hope its a creative midfielder, because Craig Stanley made Mansell and Lockyer look awful. Lets hope Easter gets fit and starts earning his wages, because we were shocking in and around the box. Roll on next Saturday, UTG

I said before the match the game would be won or loss in midfield. At least Clarke's back so Lockyer can drop back into defence but god knows what was up with Mansell today.

We were s**t today but we move on, I've never felt more relaxed leaving the ground after a defeat, we are still top and the players and manager have worked there bollocks off all season to get there, it's a shame the caged animals have come out of there cages because we have lost, some of the posts on here are an embarrassment but then that's been the general theme all season. Time for the BoD to write one final cheque and get in an experienced midfielder, no PL or Championship U21 players, it's the time of season where there's plenty of senior players looking for a game elsewhere.

My daughters said two fellas were fighting on the pitch just as I walked out of view at the final whistle. Anyone shed any light on this?

all i can say is thank you FGR, really must do better unless we fancy the play offs UTG ..................................................... And with every substitution that Clarke made today, the team became more disjointed and unbalanced. Come the end we had no pattern or shape whatsoever. Trying to make sense of it we had Harrison, Blissett and Taylor up front with Balanta roaming free with just three in midfield including the ineffectual Mansell, and Monkhouse who shies away from tackles. Blissett seemed to wander out to the wing and Harrison appeared once at RB! We were outmuscled and out outthought/outfought for all of the match. Their mixture of experienced pros and younger players worked well.
