On recent results the team and DC deserve it.
I see in another thread the question has been asked "Why do you not go to games?" I'd give my right arm to be there right now so how about those not attending (for whatever reasons) get get along to the Mem next week?
Why not take the Mrs? As Jethro once said, "Saves kissing her goodbye".

Yes 100% but remember we never perform when we get a big crowed

I can't see us getting 8, 000 when Eastleigh will probably only bring a couple of hundred at best? I'd be happy with 7,500+ as that still a 1,000 up on recent attendences, although as J83 suggests apart from Barnet a couple of years ago recently we always play poorly when we get a big attendance

There's a deal for cheap kids entrance I think for this game , should be enough to push the crowd above 8,000 I think

8,000 would be an interesting turn out for us, I think we had a decent attendance for both Barnet and Macclesfield so no reason to think we couldn't put on a performance. Under DC this season we've turned what would have last season been defeats into draws and draws into wins, so things have been turned around at least from that perspective.

Hate to say this but I think a draw is on the cards at home to a tricky and more than capable Eastleigh side who have two very good experienced strikers in constable and burton

Yes 100% but remember we never perform when we get a big crowed DC and this team have turned many corners this season - amongst them the way we used to let teams on poor runs off the hook, and our ability to perform in front of large home crowds. A big crowd should help us and intimidate the opposition next weekend - although having said that, the players that Eastleigh have bought this season have all, or mostly, played at a higher level.

That could be in our favour at last, it may mean that it won't be like playing a cup final to them and just another day at the office.

I maybe mistaken but I think I read in the Bristol post there was an offer for people who apply to the club early and they get cheap/free ? Child tickets. sorry not sure of details but I'm sure someone will correct me or give more info

Can't see us breaking 8,000 on an "average Saturday" Good Friday we might have a chance though.

It was advertised on 21st of February in the Supporters Club site bristolroverssc.co.uk/2015/02/21/kids-go-free-2/Then on Friday the Supporters Club site provided more details about the offer bristolroverssc.co.uk/2015/02/27/are-you-free/

Doubt it, Eastliegh have no home support, so unlikely to bring more than a coach load. Lot of latent Rovers support play football or do other things on a Saturday,I would imagine we could probably get around 7,000 tops.

I would imagine Pell, Constable & Stanley would have been looking forward to this fixture, plus how often will players get the chance to play in front of a 7,000 gate? Although even if we draw Barnet have potentially a bigger challenge against inform FGR. One of these games could well be a Play Off round in a couple of months time?

I'm one that has got the Rovers bug back (mind you, cant believe I almost lost it either, True Blue since 1973). Got a family do away from Bristol on Saturday, now that really sucks.
Cant wait for the result. COYB
