How long can we keep winning by the odd goal??? It's not good for my ticker and not good to alway keep the opposition in the game!

A win is a win... 5 in a row... unbeaten in 20... 1 loss in 30... I think we've got this. Barnet have FGR next who scored 5 today. CMON FOREST GREEN!

Barnet have FGR next who scored 5 today. CMON FOREST GREEN! I already know what will happen. Barnet will win a penalty which will most likely result in a red card to a Forest Green player and Akinde will score the penalty. This will happen in the forst 10 minutes and then the game is over. That has happened a lot this season I believe.

How long can we keep winning by the odd goal??? It's not good for my ticker and not good to alway keep the opposition in the game! In the 1990 promotion season we won six successive games 2-1 and we were behind in several of those...our tickers survived then so yours will survive now. Once we had got ourselves in with a shout we started to win more expansively including beating the runners up 3-0...hopefully we can have a bit of history repeating. We only lost five times that season which is another parallel.

I don't care how we win as long as we win to get out of this league. Hope to see Barnet lose by the odd goal as well would be nice.

It's how teams normally achieve success - a series of combative wins in tight games. Pretty rare to go round thrashing teams week in week out. There's nothing unusual going on here really.

Will people please calm down. This negativity is not good. We will not be beaten again this season and I know we will win the league. How are we going to start losing when we haven't since October. Its stupid. If we can't enjoy it now then when can we? Believe.

Its stupid. If we can't enjoy it now then when can we? Believe. I agree, but it is a natural reaction. But more importantly than the supporters reactions, the team seem to believe in themselves, hence the results that they are achieving. And I don't see them losing confidence in their own ability anytime soon. So long as they all stay fit and well I believe that we have a better than even chance of success this season.

Its stupid. If we can't enjoy it now then when can we? Believe. It's fifteen years since we've been competing for promotion - 2007 doesn't count because we were 17th at the start of April. There's half a generation who don't know what it's like. It's horrid! Better than the alternative, though.

Winning ugly is something that successful sides do.
We have learned to win ugly when we are not playing particularly well. How anybody sees that as a negative is completely beyond me.
We couldn't do it last year, we can this.

Nothing wrong with winning every game 1-0 or 2-1 from now until the end of the season in my book! I seem to remember Liverpool doing just that in their glory years in the seventies and eighties. (And anyway a 4-3 is even worse in terms of pressure on the heart).
At last we have a Rovers team that is hard to beat, that gives us the strength to hold firm, nick one and go onto win, precisely what we did with Ellis 'supersub' against Braintree and Gateshead.

As it currently stands it is too close to call between us and Barnet. Macc and Grimsby are still in with a shout but they need too many big wins to challenge. Macc have been punching above their weight but I think they will start to fall away. Grimsby are an interesting possibility - they have players that could give them a chance of a good run to get them to the top but their inconsistency has let them down so far.
