Extremely well taken goal by Ellis, he resisted the temptation to shoot right away but left it until the goalie had committed himself and applied the killer touch, brilliant. My thoughts exactly.

Slightly more extended highlights, from Gateshead TV: Having watched the highlights a couple of thoughts. Is that the most strange place we have played football (I know people will quote me Brighton ’s running track but they at least filled it, didn't they?). And if Sinclair has done his cruciate in that challenge it is the most bizarre way to get a cruciate injury I've ever seen, unfortunately I have seen too many.

Unusual stadium. Unusual ticket. The reverse only states: "IN THE EVENT OF ABANDONMENT THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY: 1. Abandonment within 30 minutes of play: You will be reimbursed 100% of the entrance fee on presentation of the ticket to Gateshead FC within 28 days of the original fixture. 2. Abandonment between 30 minutes and half-time: You will be reimbursed 50% of the entrance fee on presentation of the ticket to Gateshead FC within 28 days of the original fixture. 3. Abandonment after half-time: Full price will apply, therefore, NO REFUND. Please retain this ticket at all times." Perhaps the normal weather in Gateshead makes it necessary to give prominence to the rules in the event of abandonment. It's those "cold north-easterlies" (C) Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. Incidentally, if you looked from the away seats up to the hill away on the left, you could see several rows of semi-detached houses. I think that was the location used in "Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads", for Terry Collier's sister's (Audrey's) house. Edit: Sorry, I'm wrong; Audrey's house was in Blaydon, much further up the Tyne. www.thetvlounge.co.uk/sweeney/viewtopic.php?t=2630

You know full well it was just a figure of speech so tone down the patronising. i agree with the second paragraph but will continue to live in dreamland, and belive that the miracle will happen and a return to the football league of this not quite so shambolic football club I support. Achieved in a very professional manner of course. Did you notice how I didn't keep on asking you for evidence of your accusations? That would be because there wasn't any accusations. But feel free when I do make accusations. At least we are agreeing on something Funny that because you said You wish I /people would stop burdening Darrel Clarke with the miracle worker tag which I/ people haven't. So come on where is your evidence that I / people have called him that! I stand to be corrected but I personally did not and have not called him that! If others have please provide the evidence. Thanks in advance!
