A very good win for the Rovers. What Darrel Clarke and the team are doing this season is nothing short of a miracle. Still top of the table which is something I never thought would happen for a couple of seasons in this league after our departure from the Football League. The foundations are being laid, lets hope it stays in place and nothing trivial happens!! Fantastic result especially for those who made the very long trip. Very happy with what DC is achieving, more than I hoped for at the start of the season, but why is it a miracle (perhaps he walked across the Tyne?) when we are the biggest club in the division (doesn't necessarily mean you should be top) with one of the largest if not largest budget? Just wish people would stop burdening DC with a 'miracle worker' tag and let him get on with the great job he is doing. I said what Darrel Clarke and the team are doing is doing is nothing short of a miracle. How is that burdening him with a `miracle worker` tag? You aint right in the swede. seek help. Fast.

To be fair - how many league games has Harrison started this season? I'm struggling to think of any! I stand to be corrected... Keith Brookman said 2 the other week, I know he started in the Eastleigh away match, not sure on the other. Edit: Telford away. The club has been in decline for a while. The fans, whether understandable or not, are impatient and add pressure. Plenty of other big clubs have dropped down and taken a lot longer than a year to return, some still have no. How often do clubs go back up, one in ten? We probably haven't got the biggest budget in the league, probably not in the top 3. And then half of what he did have was already swallowed up by the players remaining from last year. Some would argue league two is easier to get out of than the Conference, given 4 promotion places rather than 2. How often did we even finish in the top 10, with a top 3 budget each season.

Incredible win, superb defensive & midfield display again, grinding out results on a weekly basis against top teams away from home, clear sign now that we are title winning quality and i think the surge of momentum we have will get us through the remaining 9 games. 6 wins from our last 9 games and we win the league IMO. Mustn't forget their game in hand. Not sure who it is against, home or away. But will be happier when that is out the way and we are on a level games footing. Their game in hand is AT Halifax. Good chance of a Barnet loss! Halifax in great form.

I'm near Leeds now, another big bollocks performance where another DC sub made the difference. That was a fight today and we came out with the win in the end.

Magnificent stuff again, just got home from my son's 5th birthday party in time to hear the winner! Beat Eastleigh and I'm genuinely confident we' ll get first place. Half way through a celebratory crate of butcombe now, what wouldn't i give to be out in Newcastle tonight!

Fantastic win today - even more so because Barnet won at Altricham.
I think if you'd offered most of us a point last night we'd have taken it, I wasn't unhappy at 0-0, but the goal was fantastic. Trouble is I was driving along Fishponds Road when I heard it on the radio, and kept banging the steering wheel in celebration and setting the car's horn off - apologies if you were driving in front of me!

Long Tuesday night trip in a few weeks time to a ground with a horrendous pitch and a team like Halifax who are top 7 quality and difficult to beat.

We play Halifax away too mind We play them first on the Saturday then Barnet play them on the Tuesday. Could go two ways... Either: 1) We run Halifax ragged and they are too tired when they face Barnet giving Barnet an advantage OR 2) Halifax will be determined to get a result against Barnet after losing to us!

We play Halifax away too mind 3 days before Barnet do! The barmy Conference fixture list means Barnet also still have to play Halifax at home.

I was sat listening to the game on the internet but watching Exeter Chiefs play Bath on TV and just let out an enormous growling "yeah!" and punched the air when we scored, good job I live on my own

Just home. Ellis is a big moment player for us this season, he seems to get very important goals. Accidentally snapped a seat when he scored. Sorry chaps!

What I should've said is miracles don't exist, they are fairy tales made up by religions to control the gullible. In the meantime DC and the players are doing a fantastic job, which they are paid to do and which they obviously enjoy (well certainly enjoy more than losing each week). So rather than being short of a miracle I'd describe it as very professional.

You know full well it was just a figure of speech so tone down the patronising. i agree with the second paragraph but will continue to live in dreamland, and belive that the miracle will happen and a return to the football league of this not quite so shambolic football club I support. Achieved in a very professional manner of course. Did you notice how I didn't keep on asking you for evidence of your accusations?

But feel free when I do make accusations. At least we are agreeing on something

Extremely well taken goal by Ellis, he resisted the temptation to shoot right away but left it until the goalie had committed himself and applied the killer touch, brilliant.
