I was under the impression that both Easter and Sinclair were three weeks away from returning. That was over three weeks ago so what's the score? Are they fit, is DC saving them for this weekend and subsequent run-in or are the injuries worse than thought?

Sinclair judging by his warm ups with the first team for the last two games probably will be fit enough for the bench at least come the weekend where as I think Easter (and O.Clarke) said that they'd be fit for the Eastleigh game.

Easter is training again with the squad, so its a case of fitness now If he gets the chances then his class really should show in this league. Here is hoping he brings the goals that our forwards have not been able to bag.

When Nick Day interviewed Easter and Clarke at half time last week they said they were hopeful of being ready for the Eastleigh game, they didn't comment on Sinclair (not that I could hear) but there is speculation elsewhere on another thread that he could return sooner. With Mansell being on 9 bookings now (and Lockyer 7) their return could come at just the right time.

Hold on am I missing something. I thought Easter was all about chocolate eggs. Has it now got something to do with a bloke with a beard?

ive noticed this season that dc prefers not to give information about injuries to the media,, I dont see why he should, it only gives advanced information to the opposition. As for the fans I dont think it makes much difference, it's nice to know when they will be back but wont make me decide whether to go or not. It makes it quite interesting when you turn up on match days not knowing who will be out there.

Nothing to do with a bloke with a beard. In the morning you eat chocolate rabbits, and at the same time yer Dad goes out and catches a couple of the real furry ones. Your Mam then cooks them, and the whole family sit around the table and eat them...........that is what Easter is all about....or is that just my family?
