Happy to win, but nowhere near a good peformance last night. I hope now we are there the players might relax a bit...
However as a team we miss Sinclair or indeed just a more mobile or forward thinking centre mid I think Lockyer and Mansell contribute to most of the problems. They are too similar, too static. Neither drives forward with the ball or the partner doesnt create space when the other has the ball and both shadow and dont hassle the opposition midfield anf allow them to play too much
Definitley need sinclair back or a dynamic centre mid to press and break the line which will help the strikers
But still unbeaten, now top, hopefully players coming back is the boost to keep it all going

Yeah. When Sinclair is back I'd keep Leadbitter over Lockyer, too!

Has Wakefield had any game time yet?

Sinclair's sheer energy causes problems for the opposition and forces them to make mistakes. He wins us possession and makes things happen. The last two performances have been lacking in energy and guile and so his return and that of Easter's can't come soon enough.
In the meantime it is frustrating to see a player that offers nothing getting picked ahead of those that can make things happen. Any one of the subs last night would have been a better bet than Gosling. We can't afford to waste whole halves of games not playing our best available team as we did last night. We got away with it but it's a dangerous game to play.

We are definitely missing Sinclair. As much as I like Mansell, I thought last night was his worst game so far in a Rovers shirt. Should have been controlling the game in centre mid against 10 men, but he seemed to panic in possession on occasions.

Well, it was good to see The Beard having a wee kick around before the match tonight.

Lockyer is a different type of player to Sinclair, so probably needs a different partner to shine - someone more creative.

Yep IMO we are missing Sinclair; however, Lockyer is not a full back, plays well in midfield but for me he is a centre back.

Yeah. When Sinclair is back I'd keep Leadbitter over Lockyer, too! Agree entirely - but oh how we do miss an attacking midfielder - need Sinclair back asap
