Please get number 3 as I have seen us in this position let one in to draw on more than one occasion over 50 odd years. Please Bristol Rovers hang on in there.

Funny I was jumping up and down and had to send a message to a fellow gashead who has stood tall above all others and supported ellis, just like another friend used to do for Lewis. Early days but SOD IT! WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE! from a doubter.

Masterstroke by DC bringing Dawson on with 20 minutes left, we needed his quality and skill to be as fresh as possible when Braintree's legs had gone, and the loan man delivered, keeping him on the bench will do him no harm, DC did it with LDV, keeps them keen and hungry. Watching saturdays game wasn't easy, and listening tonight wasn't easy, but a huge 3 points that puts pressure on Barnet who are away at Altrincham on Saturday, one of the hardest teams to beat in this league. Will happily take a point at Gateshead now!

We are top of Non League. As a club it's an absolute disgrace we are here, I'm pleased we are top but let's see where we are at the end of the season. We absolutely MUST go up. IMO we are underperforming in L2. Mega pleased with the squad DC has put together and can't help but think if we had had this team and team spirit last season we wouldn't have gone down.

Out of all those names listed, I am certain not one of them hails from Braintree.
Good result and top of the league, here's hoping we stay there.
We continue to make it hard for ourselves though, it would be nice if we could start putting teams away, all these scrappy 1 goal advantage wins are getting too nerve racking
Wins are wins though
Good to see Ellis get the winner, he gets quite a bit of unjust stick imo, I think he deserves a start, his goals per game time this season is better than anybody else's and Blissit hasn't pulled up any trees over the last few matches
It's taken a while but we have reached the summit, hats off to DC and the boys

I think Iam correct in saying that is our last night game this season where as other teams will be playing twice a week we have quality players to come back surely it's in our hands now if we keep up our average ( just under 2 points a game we will be champs ) not everyone can take maximum points we just need to grind out results 1 nils will do .i think will get promoted at Dover hope I am right don't think my heart could take another last day collapse

Not sure there is a website listing famous people born in Baintree.

Couldn`t disagree more. Dawson should have been on at the start of the second half. It`s beyond me why Clarke put Balanta into an already crowded midfield, when width was needed against Braintree`s ten men. Not good management at all.

Was very downbeat about expectations being high etc. Would like him, for once, to say we are up for this. CAMAAAAAN !!
