After watching the Gas for 45 years I have thrown away huge numbers of shirts, scarfs, socks and pants, all of which I have deemed as being unlucky. This year I have worn my Rovers shirt once, at Dartford, and I wont be wearing it again. Or doesn't it matter?

Maybe it's not the clothing that's the problem.

Old men shouldn't wear replica shirts.

Old men shouldn't wear replica shirts. Why is that? I have worn mine in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, France, Italy, Malta, Spain, Iceland, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Canada, USA, Belize, Guatemala and probably a few more as well. I also wear it with pride around Oxon and have been known to wear it whilst watching Barnsley (the Mrs team).

Barnet have lost 3 away in a row. that point might win us the league

I only wear mine during the summer, it's too cold otherwise for an old git like me. I certainly gave it a good airing too on the Denmark/Sweden tour.....

My son is 20 years old and studying at college here in the USA. His fraternity has a spring break tradition of traveling en masse to Florida for a week of boozing etc He sent me a link to this site www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/other-uk-clubs/non-league/bristol-rovers.html?p=1 and asked for my advice on which Rovers retro shirt he should get for the trip. I'm not particularly proud of the club (note I said the club not the team) at the moment but I'm proud of him for maintaining his allegiance to Rovers.

Well so far the blue shorts and yellow jersey away from home combo for the players seems to be doing ok, last time i remember that combo was 1990......
