Terrifically biased commentary, as it should be! Rubbish pen. Taylor (again) should have had a hat trick. Blissett looked useful from those highlights.

Taylor (again) should have had a hat trick. How many times has that happened so far this season?

This is the risk if you are looking to put the ball in the corner............but therefore agree with the original poster, we need players following up the kick.

There is never anyone following up on the edge of the area for anything from any phase of play. One of our most glaring tactical failings and has been since the absence of JJOT. Almost definitely cost us wins. I can't believe it hasn't been addressed quite honestly.

They would have conceded a free kick if they had 'scored' though.

The way some were going on it was like it was the crime of the century; as if no one had ever missed a penalty before. When you think of the famous players who have blasted wide or over the bar.

They would have conceded a free kick if they had 'scored' though. That is correct,Taylor was the only Rovers player allowed to touch the ball as the keeper never touched it

Your both wrong. Taylor would've conceded a free kick if he'd touched it, but it was fair game for anyone else.

Anyone but Taylor could touch the ball next Rule 14-1-5 “After the penalty kick is properly taken, the ball may be played by any player except the one who executed the penalty kick (kicker). The kicker may not play the ball until it has been touched or played by another player of either team

I was a bit annoyed too. Had Taylor at 7/1 for first goal!! Oh well, the win was more important.

Two inches from being perfect, shame really. That's what she said. Pah, on Saturday night She Who Casts No Shadow said I was 14 minutes and 53 seconds away from being perfect.......totally ignoring the 7 seconds of sheer sexual heaven she must have enjoyed !
