If all of the relevant authorities that had been alerted could find no basis for the allegation, then it was unproven . . . or frivolous. |

Someone said something on twitter and this was taken as proof that it was frivolous.
Unproven doesn't mean frivolous. It doesn't mean that JB didn't hear something that he took to be deeply offensive. It doesn't mean that something wasn't misheard in the heat of the moment. It means that we don't know.
Still, don't let that stop anyone trying to discredit an anti-racism campaigner, for reasons known only to them.
