And our next word, please. Foa.
Foa. Or Foe-Ahh. Interestingly, many years ago, in the eighteenth century during the great age of discover it was not uncommon for a British sailor, perhaps under Cook, or Bligh, to land upon a south sea island to be greeted thusly by the local maidens. For she would take her hand like this and slap the sailor's arse. No, 'tis true. And she would say, 'Foa!' And by such a slapping of the arse she would make it known to the sailor that perhaps she might be amenable to take their relationship forward, as you might say.
Foa, or more accurately Fwa, is a surprise that you might get waking up one morning in your tent, in the Hindu Kush, perhaps. You might wake up one morning and look down upon your body, and see a large bulge under the sheets. For, in the night, a Foa, or Fwa, may have spied you asleep on your bunk, and crawled under your sheets in order to curl up with you for a good night's sleep. For a fwa is a non-poisonous snake that lives in northern India. And a jolly nice snake it is too.
Foa, how should I put this? Foa is what an alpine shepherd, or indeed shepherdess, might do to pass the time of day, if they didn't know how to yodel. For a foa is a sort of short song, or dare I say it, ditty, that they sing in the mountains of Austria. Very often the song has a somewhat bawdy undertone, or indeed becomes rather rude. And if I were an Austrian shepherd, or indeed Shepherdess, I imagine I might indeed amuse myself with a Foa of a winter's evening.
So, there you have it. Foa, or Foe-Ahh, or Fwa is an Indian snake, it's an Austrian ditty ,or it's a South Sea mating slap. Over to you.

Does he have some inside information? Can it be that our foreign investment is going to be Nordic rather than Arabic?
