A simple question for Gashead's who go to away games or may possibly go to any of the remaining away games.
The "fiasco" of Saturday's game is being raised at Monday's Board meeting so your input would be appreciated.

Negotiate the highest number of tickets for each of the remaining games and make them easy(ier) to buy and receive. You will sell out every game How hard is that?

Living far away as I do makes getting a ticket for away games tricky.
Also such a system excludes those people unable to pay for a season ticket or whatever.

Not convinced that Halifax or Gateshead need to be all ticket, they've got masses of space.
Probably need to do so for the more tin pot places though

Woking had enough space to accommodate the approximate 300 locked out. Our administrators, in their wisdom, declined the offer to make it all ticket, which denied Woking the opportunity to plan appropriately. Thats our fault. The problem is that we dont have an efficient distribution system, which makes it hard(er) to buy a ticket. In this day and age, it should be easy. Mind you, as I left the ground yesterday, the sight of our first team hanging around in a cold, damp car park, waiting for their coach brought home a degree of reality.

The Kidderminster away game on Easter Monday is the fixture where there could be absolute chaos. If we are still in the title race then i can see us wanting to take 4,000 up there, we took 3,500 on a Tuesday night to a mediocre championship team in Birmingham last season when we were in the middle of diabolical season where morale was low, any chance we could switch the game and Kiddy take 90% of the gate receipts?

As a Cheshire-based BRFC season ticket holder, I'm intending to go to between 4 and 7 of the remaining away games. I'd be OK with all-ticket away games as long as the said tickets: - are available to be picked up at the remaining home games
- or, if not, could be sent in the post (e.g. Dartford away on 31st January).

If we are still doing really well and in with a chance of the tittle we'll need Dover, kidderminster and maybe macclesfield to be all ticket. Grimsby. Halifax and gateshead will be fine

Is it, so who are you then, are you on the board as presumably the agenda isn't in the public domain ? As a long time fan from the 1950's could you let us know what decision is reached by the board then and how they plan to ensure another 'fiasco' is avoided ? I never know whose decision it is to make a game all ticket, do we as a club get asked by the away team, do we get told by the away team or do we ask, genuine question.

The only way to avoid such a situation in the future is by making it all ticket, it does mean it will reduce the away following but that's better than fans travelling long distances and not being able to get in, not all of us live in or near to Bristol.

We could take 2,500 easily if kidderminster is an important game. Anyone know the maximum allocation there

Anyone know the maximum allocation there I read 1500 somewhere I think. 2500 is a conservative estimate tbh if the game is important to the title chase Macclesfield is at the end of March. 1900 away capacity - again, this will be pushed if we continue to chase top spot

Making games all ticket for necessity, I can empathise with sometimes.
The only small point I would make is there are plenty of Rovers fans that cant economically afford a season ticket/supporters club/helpline subscription, that perfectly attend every match at home; are excluded from priority matches.
When was the last time we were issued vouchers on turnstiles based on attendance, not on the ability to afford a priority group?
Not taking anything away from respected groups that contribute, total respect there..

What's more, why do those who are in more than one of those priority groups get the chance to buy multiple tickets before those who aren't in any get to buy one?

Kidderminster and Dover will definitely be all ticket.
Can't see any other game being made all ticket.

If Gateshead lose tomorrow I can see us taking 1000+ on the 28th, and for those of you who think I'm talking sh1t I said we'd take 2000 + to Woking and that was scoffed at and ridiculed

The only people that can make a game all ticket, or all ticket for away fans, is the home club or the police. The away club have to comply with what ever decision is made. Woking dropped a bollock on this one & are totally to blame for the consequences. Likewise it will be upto the home clubs in future games to decide whether they are all ticket or not. The away club cannot make that decision (which is what you are implying).
