If we do sigh LDV and J Easter, I will be absolutely delighted. How any gashead could moan about that I really don't know.

Has anyone thought that Easter could sign for the s**t? I mean the guy has just left a championship club so why would he move to us or Newport just because he's gone back to live in Cardiff? A player like him probably wouldn't want to drop 2/3 divisions even at his age!

+ he was at palace in the prem before he went to millwall in 2013 that is quite a drop down the leagues for someone who is only 32

Why wouldn't he go to Newport, they're doing pretty well at the moment and with their Bristolian born multimillion lottery winning Director (damn you ) financially supporting them he might be tempted to improve their squad with a decent player or two to improve their chances of going up.

Newport still have to work on a shoestring budget, recently broke their record transfer fee of £20,000 signing a keeper from Perterborough. They have a small squad but Justin Edinburgh really gets the best out of a limited lineup. Whilst their owner no doubt helps financially in no way is he doing a Pantsdown!
