Regarding Richards, I'll say what I said on another thread: it's time to let him go. He has the ability and a skillful finishing capacity that sets him apart but he's lost himself (maybe due to straight-up laziness, maybe mismanagement, maybe both) and he's not a hard worker, plus I can imagine him getting injured a lot in this league where people tackle way harder amd get away with it. Yes he was last season !! Did you go to games in 2013-14 or just basing it on what you saw and heard previously ?

DC said yesterday that he's after a centre half, if Woodards is fit and not injured then i think on short term deal until the end of the season he could be a very good signing, can also play full back and midfield, quality utility player at conference level. Fitness being the main issue

I can't decide whether Eliot Richards is lucky or not, possibly having been jettisoned from a sinking ship twice in as many seasons. Real shame for Danny Woodards he was a top player at his best, I guess he'll be retiring now if he's injured again. Fractured metatarsal in September

If you're saying he was a hard worker (sorry, didn't quite get what the "yes he was" referred to), I thought that he did run around a bit more and tackled some, but that's because he was playing as a wide midfielder and that is somewhat required of them; it'd be terrible if we had a wide midfielder that stayed out waiting for the ball right? I do believe he had lots of moments where he was mismanaged and I was very much a believer in Richards, but bottom line he's just not good enough IMO.
