6 goals in 46 appearances. Wow! Just the sort of striker we don't need

Just the sort of striker we don't need Know what you're getting at LP but that is 3 divisions above our own and for a Millwall side that haven't really been doing very well. In this division I think he would be a real handful and will hopefully be the scorer of a few important goals. To be honest I think he's still more than good enough for the Football League as well, so we'd have an experienced striker in our ranks should we get promoted. Luton added an experienced FL striker when they won promotion - Paul Benson - and he did the business for them. No reason why Easter couldn't do the same for us.

There is only 16 games left of the season and when was the last time he played a full 90 minutes? I'd only want him if he would accept a short term contract with a minimal basic wage plus promotion and goal bonuses.

I'd only want him if he would accept a short term contract with a minimal basic wage plus promotion and goal bonuses. I hope the contract is sensible, for sure, but we don't necessarily need him to play a full 90 minutes because we have other options. If he can do a job for an hour until he builds up full fitness we have Taylor, Blissett, Goldberg, Harrison that can come on and cause problems. It's another option for DC to use and that's exactly what we need. I also think we need a winger or creative-type midfielder, so hopefully that's the second signing DC is able to make next Monday. LDV is the dream...

We should be buying to improve the starting 11, and Easter surely would improve the starting 11.

I'd love to know what prolific striker we can attract to play in the conference on short term deals for peanuts. IMO Easter would be an excellent signing, and a perfect mentor/leader of a very young exciting inexperienced strikeforce that we have. The fact that League 1 clubs are after his signature means that his signing would be a sensational bit of business. We are 2nd in the league that proves we aren't lacking goals, the problem we could face is breaking teams down and providing service for the likes of Blissett & Taylor who have proved they can put the ball in the back of the net. Priority needs to be a winger and i still don't think we have nowhere enough depth to cover any injuries/suspensions in midfield.
