Danny Kedwell has joined Ebbsfleet from Gillingham on a free. Hell of a signing for that level, Ebbsfleet obviously have some money to chuck about Yeah saw that this morning, rumoured to be on about 2k a week apparently, in the conference south! They must have some clout behind them.

For what its worth I am cool about it . I don't think anyone of note will go and we might bring a couple in . Also I have seen Barnet a few times this season and imho we are far better . I expect us to catch them up and pass them in Feb I guess it depends what games you saw. If anyone had only watched Rovers away at Braintree & Altrincham we wouldn't look like title contenders either. Barnet looked good against us up there (we hadn't found our feet), but very average at the Mem and there may be a few signs that they are starting to wobble.

Article in paper this morning that Barrow (Conference North?) had a reveal of next seasons strip (already!) at some mega place in London with their new (loaded) backer. So watch that space as well I guess.

Actually, that could be even more reason to get out of here this season - Eastleigh and FGR haven't quite had the clout of Fleetwood/Crawley etc. If Barrow and Ebbsfleet start spending big then it could be an impediment to our progress. Let's get out asap

Let's get out asap Just re-read the article. The kit unveiling was at the top floor of the The Shard and the backer is a guy named Paul Casson who is quoted as being born in Barrow but is now "....a Dallas based telecoms millionaire". Already filming about the club to record its journey to FL status. So there is some tough financial competition out there. Doesn't guarantee success though I guess.
