I was under the impression that all the delegates from UEFA were going to walk out and not back Blatter for another term.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has been urged to stand down next year by European football chiefs because of the damage to Fifa's reputation from recent corruption allegations.

And it's all the fault of the ''racist'' British press apparently, well it is according to Blatter himself. I seem to remember him using the British press to vent his anger on a previous occasion.
Goodness only knows what would happen should the rest of the world's media join in.

Problem is unless the European countries get some support from the rest of the world he will get back in with a landslide majority again. Just shows how corrupt the whole organisation is.

I'm confused. Is this the same Mr blatter who thinks that racism is no big deal?

I'm confused. Is this the same Mr blatter who thinks that racism is no big deal? That's a good point, and very relevant to the situation as well. Meanwhile the BBC is reporting . . . Sepp Blatter has indicated he wants to seek a fifth term as Fifa president and called Uefa "disrespectful" after calls for his resignation. He has been widely criticised over the damage corruption allegations have caused football's governing body. But the 78-year-old Swiss said he was angered by calls by his European counterparts for him to quit.

. . . in which he claims that ''My mission is not finished.'' :wallbang:
