We don't even look interested .... What is going on ? Pretty similar to last Saturday at the moment. Parkes keeps us only 1-0 down but this is fairly desperate stuff right now. We look like rabbits in headlights and we're giving them way too much respect by which I mean we're not getting in tight and putting a few challenges in. |

carrying on from where we left of saturday and i'd love to know if we practice crossing the bloody ball in training because we haven't had one land in the box yet, and people moan that the strikers are s**t

How embarrassing .... Balanta off in 30 minutes ......not embarrassing for us or DC but for Balanta and his inability to do basic stuff !!

Look at the difference with what both teams are doing when they don't have the ball. They're pressing us high, they're giving us no time on the ball and we're panicking and giving it away all the time - can't string too passes. On the other hand when they have it we stand off them. It's not just about tactics it's also about energising the side - you don't have to do it all the time but you have to do it a bit otherwise they'll just have all the confidence on the ball. We just seem so passive.
Balanta just doesn't look like he has the legs to keep up with the game at the moment.

Gateshead are the best side I've watch Rovers play in the past 2/3 seasons. The whole side look comfortable on the ball and play decent football. It's going to be a long night for Rovers!

Gateshead are the best side I've watch Rovers play in the past 2/3 seasons. The whole side look comfortable on the ball and play decent football. It's going to be a long night for Rovers! They're OK and they knock it around quite well and Oster gives them a bit of extra quality from deep. But we're making them look good here. Giving them acres of space and struggling to string 2 passes together. |
