Coming towards the end of 2014 ....I know the relegation out of the league was a real heartbreaker..but what were everyone's highlight of the past twelve months
The emergence of TOM LOCKYER as a more than useful utility player and the signings of STUART SINCLAIR & LEE MANSELL Both of whom have been consistent, hardworking and inspiring to team mates and the fans.
Other match highlights was the first half performance at the Mem against Barnet recently.

My highlight was, even though we lost, Birmingham away. The atmosphere with 1000's of Gasheads was the best I'd seen for a while.

Portsmouth away was good too Clarksons goal at Wycombe but the craziest I've ever went when celebrating a goal. But the best highlight is getting 9 points from our last 3 games in 2014

Best thing about this year is that I'll be able to tell my great-grandchildren about it, and they won't believe me.
I feel a 'Four Gasheads' sketch coming on.

I think seeing Rovers in the qualifying round of the FA Cup will live long in the memory. Unless we have to do it next year as well in which case it'll be a bit s**t.

Nothing whatsoever - can only hope this will be the worst year in our history.

My favourite moment was watching the diggers roll onto the UWE site in March May June late summer autumn the end of the year just as Mr Higgs predicted.

I had some particularly excellent fish and chips in Morecambe but I guess we're currently dreaming of such a glamorous and high profile away day.
Can normally pick something out but honestly I can't see any positives out of this year at all.

The day we sacked John Ward and put a manager in place who cares about the club.

Lots of people in the immediate vicinity of the halfway line on the west stand enclosure pissing themselves laughing when Nick Day announced that the Barnet sub, Bernard Mincer was coming on. Also, Dreadlock Holiday by 10cc being played at halftime on 'Kick it Out' anti racism day.

eastleigh away for me,cracking atmosphere from both sets of supporters,,,down to 10 men 1-0 down but dc played 2 upfront in a 3-4-2 formation and the team battered eastleigh and got a draw that deserved a win,,,,great night

We where down before then, at least we had a chance with DC, no chance with John Ward i disagree. we were still in the league till 16.50+, jw should have been made to stay till the end, in which case i think we would have just made it. i dont blame dc, i blame the players who let him down, we needed strikers all season and jw got nobody of any great shakes, other clubs did and they made it on the final day, which must go down as one of the saddest days in my life. We where down before then, at least we had a chance with DC, no chance with John Ward Hmm not the sharpest tool in the box I'm thinking. We'll never know what would have happened but my gut feeling is that we'd have stayed up with Ward.

We'll never know what would have happened but my gut feeling is that we'd have stayed up with Ward. John Ward failed to get in a striker or Strikers before the transfer deadline, we never had the firepower to stay up after that with the extreme defence way of playing at lease DC came out fighting and played some more attacking football.
