Surely can not put in a worst shift than was put in against bath city , should be close to a fully fit 11 and we should see some sort of reaction from Saturday so I'm going to go for rovers 3 (blissett 2, Harrison ) Gateshead 1 Att 6100 ish

I'm probably tempting fate but surely a footballing side is what Rovers are best against, as we always struggle against a direct physical side.
With a full strength squad, a decent Friday night game, with virtually no away fans, live on TV, surely we must bounce back with a win, I'll go 3-1, Blisset, Monkhouse, Harrison.

Yes the heed are regarded as the best footballing side in this division by many people but also not as street wise as Barnet.Only 2 defeats on the road but like ourselves drawn too many games so far and they only have 1 victory all season against a current top 10 side, which was against Torquay way back on the opening game of the season. We need to show our mettle in the next 4 big games and I believe we will make a great start with a 3-0 win on Friday night.

2-1 to us I'm hoping and probably around 5,500 attendance although as it's on TV and our recent form hasn't been that impressive I wouldn't be surprised if we get even less than that but even that will be twice as many as most teams in our league, League 2 and probably half of the teams in League 1 !

17-1 to the Rovers. Their goal will be offside though. The ref and lino will bottle the decision. The next day the forum will be awash with complaints about our defence.

Whilst I am all up for optimism, I would point out that we have only scored 3 league goals at home once this season, and that was against Nuneaton. I cannot see the same happening against a good Conference side like Gateshead. We have also not scored in 3 games. I would settle for a crappy 1-0 win and clean sheets over Christmas.

Would be good PR for the club to give a free pasty to the Gateshead fans who make the trip down
