So FGR beat Woking tonight and keep us in second place and Torquay beating Halifax did us a favour too. Hoping Macclesfield. Grimsby, Gateshead and Eastleigh don't make their games in hand count either. Good results tonight though.

We really need to start picking a few wins up soon or we'll soon slip out the play offs

Advantage us if we win on the 19th!
Other non-league teams fans will be looking up and saying that the top two are done & dusted (we might not)!!!

A big positive that the teams below aren't taking advantage of our propensity to draw matches, what better time could there be to start stringing some wins together than the busy Christmas period of 5 matches in just over 2 weeks!? Just have to hope we aren't affected too much with postponements.

Well you know what that's good enough for ITV's main football commentator. Clive Tyldesley the other week in the Man City - Bayern game said 'City really don't want to lose this game, a draw would be OK but what they would really like is a win'. I'm so glad he's paid that kind of money to give us world class insights like that. Win>Draw>Loss. Genius.

My wife has developed a special look that she gives me when I'm ranting about him yet again for his inanity, wrongness, his massive baseless assumptions, or his attempts to derive the complete psychological profile of a player from the way they tie their shoelaces I'm getting that look again...

I love inane commentary! Rugby is particularly good for it "Well, Eddie there seems to be two opposing teams on the field here today. Thankfully the game has some sort of rudimentary point scoring system so we know which of the two is the eventual victor. Things could get messy if they were all just standing around not knowing if which of them had won or lost". "Very much so, Andrew. Paul O'Connell is wearing orange boots".
