Williams made the offer in the summer. Higgs didn't return the call. Don't think Geoffrey is alone in holding grudges. This is actually quite a funny conspiracy theory and completely untrue- if folk spoke only with facts threads wouldn't get to 12 pages very quickly. Its true Ian, heard it from folk who have no reason to lie. If Box 1 were open and honest threads wouldn't get to 12 pages.

KP I'm surprised being that you have been on the forums so long that you have overseen the fact that rose tinters have been telling us for years. All the board members are huge Gasheads in it for the love of the club and plough huge sums of their own personal fortune into the club for the Rovers with no return. I'm sure Dunford being repaid a large loan is purely rumour, he is a Gashead isn't he? He wouldn't add to what some now see as financial peril at the club, surely not..... That would be Mr Dunford You may not like the man but at least be civil when talking of him. Christ Geoff, a whole post without threats to sue. I'm almost proud of you.

The money is spent, so if written off it will show as a huge loss but not in real time as it were. What it would mean is money was spent and we never got anything for it in return So what happens next if Sainsbury's pull out and we can only get a small sum in compensation from them thereby forcing BRFC 1883 into receivership, can MSP Cap. now force us out of the Mem if we can't keep up with the loan payments? Also if we are just weeks away from receiving £30m from Sainsbury's why have the club re-arranged the loans to pay off GD now surely he'd wait and, why, after all these years have Barclays walk away just when there seemed light at the end of the tunnel?

As Bamber said somewhere, as usual with Rovers there are more questions than answers The answers might be entirely harmless but we are unlikely to know until such times as the s**t hits the fan as per

BSS has promised to ask the Chairman about the issue given the fans are shareholders of the Club and the finances have been effectively re-structured. That's what brave Internet warriors do . They hold people to account and seek clarification / communication on issues that really matter to our future. However, in the paper-back non-virtual world, the Punky Paul Randall Autobiography (£9.99) delivered yesterday reminded me of what a FC was all about last night. £55 a week and caught the bus (I was on it) to Southampton game in 78, speaking to all the fans. Now we are treated by our BOD as beneath contempt, although veiled by the occasional Q&A. Fraser.

Dunford is old enough to know respect is a two way street, i've seen enough with my own two eyes to never ever have a shred of respect for that man thank you very much.

So you have no respect for the Dunford Family? Not even for things that have gone right, like getting BRFC back to Bristol, brokering a deal where BRFC actually ended up owing the Mem outright, 2 Finals in one season? You do them and yourself an injustice with you very narrow perspective on history.
You say respect is a 2 way street, well I see none for your direction, none at all.

I like the idea that the worst thing that has ever been said about GD on these forums is that someone didn't put a 'Mr' in front of his name.

But still a box holder and using Twitter to talk about his eagerly awaited book on his time , warts n all, with Rovers. He really can't bear to be out of it, can he ? Oh, the irony is not lost upon me. The way I feel right now, I wish it would end and the fans could take up the strain. This is not anything like the club I fell in love with & had some of my most memorable times with. Was just talking with the Mrs and saying that Rovers was the one thing I could rely upon when everything else went tits up. Houses lost, relationships up the Swanee and parents dying etc but always the Rovers family there for me and us. It's not like that now. It hurts me to feel the way I do.

Simply put because Barclays don't believe it will happen

You say respect is a 2 way street, well I see none for your direction, none at all. I am from the Dennis Dunford era, one of those people who would walk over hot coals if needed, as an alternative though I did help with the pitch covers on numerous occasions when the game was in danger of being called off. In that time there were a certain band of like minded merry men and women, among them some fantastic human beings, some of which I developed good friendships with still today. Unfortunately many of those fans were treated in a vindictive and cowardly way in the 90's and onwards as Dennis took more of a back step, and as such are no longer involved with the club, ALL thoroughly decent Gasheads. Getting the Mem on the cheap as Bristol RFC were in deep trouble financially and sitting back watching the fans pay for the few ground developments that have happened while inventing a share scheme that watered down fans ownership has only served to continue to have nothing short of outright disdain for the man. End of that conversation as it's no good for the BP so won't be responding to any more around the subject of him.

You say respect is a 2 way street, well I see none for your direction, none at all. Your father is someone we all have respect for Geoff. You are someone that only the blinkered idiots who close their eyes to the real world have respect for. Don't worry through, there are loads of them. Enjoy your money.
