taxi for ollie after todays dicking, the locals wont be appy I'd rather be losing 5-1 to Middlesbrough in the league than drawing 0-0 with Welling United.

why do we find it so difficult to score against part-timers? Because we're not good enough to get through teams that play for the draw!

Result Nil nil..Still not able to score enough despite the recruits.Pleased for the new goalie but two no scoring draws in succession underlines our dearth of scoring potential.

we're up to second in league That's ironic, we move up the league table and yet the team above us increase their points total over us

Still doing the unthinkable and cementing our place in the play-offs, 1 defeat in the last 20 league games, 2nd in the league, 11th clean sheet of the season, if people can't be delighted with that after 4 dreadful seasons on the bounce then we deserve to rot in this league for many years to come.

That IS very nice and we should be thankful for being on top despite everything surrounding the club, but we still have very much the right to look a bit sour after letting an easy victory escape us like that. We can't say if those +2 points aren't going to be missed later on.

This just proves what I've said all along. Have all the strikers you want, it doesn't mean a thing if there's no service from midfield.

Why do we all consider that Welling away, in fact anyone away in the League, will be an easy win? Our side is battling hard, difficult to beat but the lack of a prolific goalscoring striker is making it very difficult. Surely the majority of fans would have taken 2nd in the League leading up to Xmas. Get a decent striker on board early in the New Year and there is still every chance of catching Barnet. On the other hand we MUST ensure the play offs are a minimum now so a point today not the end of the world.

I've never known a season where everyone is talking so much about 'if's, but's and maybe's', it's been nothing but a pressure cooker atmosphere all season, and i think that DC and the players are coping with it very well.

Still think that a prolific experienced striker needed rather than hoping for goals from Wall, Goldberg and Blissett!
