He's mustard. Although we shouldn't get caraway too soon. We need to give him thyme.

In a recent interview Spiess said "I hate The s**t but absolutely love the Gas, hopefully we'll see Rovers in the Champions League one day. All s**theads are scum and I'm not to fond of Notts Cheats either, in fact I haven't a clue why I'm here. Also f**k Swindon.".
I like the bloke already.

Highlights on u tube show him to be a very reasonable keeper who likes to distribute quickly HOWEVER I wouldn't fancy some of our defenders receiving some of the throw outs and kick outs on u tube!!

Rovers (and this forum) have the correct spelling: Spiess (not Speiss, as the showreel has it).
The German word Spiess (rhymes with peace) and translates into English as:
spit, spear, skewer, thin spike of wood or metal used to hold meat or vegetables while grilling, spike skewer, put meat or vegetables onto a thin spike of wood or metal for roasting; spear, pierce or thrust at with or as if with a spear, impale, spit.

He did but that had to be omitted due to its explicit nature!!!

Have heard of Fabian Spiess after there was rumoured interest in him from Premier League sides a while ago. It was clearly fate that I remembered his name!
Good luck to the lad, I hope he enjoys a good debut tomorrow.

Our defence is now known as the Spiess Boys.
Anyone want to have a go at naming them?

Had a solid game today IMO, didn't do too much but had a few saves, one in particular very nice.
Shame he's already got a considerable name for himself and we've no prospect of keeping the lad, seeing as Mildenhall is more than ageing and Puddy is only good for this division.
