Having recently been asked to book a last minute leaving party for 25 people, I realised this was not an easy task at this time of year. Suggesting to my boss that Rovers could accommodate us was a potentially career ruining idea of mine, but I just wanted to comment and praise such a fantastic afternoon the club put on for us.
We were greeted at the door by warm and welcoming staff, the bar was well staffed & the room was laid out beautifully.
Starters was soup & a selection of orderves which were both very tasty.
We chose carvery for our mains and I must say the beef was some of the best I’ve had. The service, quality and portion size was again superb.
Desert was a selection of cold ‘cakes’ which were brought to our tables.
All this was £20 a head, which gave us exclusive use of the Dribuild stand and basically unlimited food.
I’ve come into work this morning and had endless comments about the quality of the meal. We will definitely be looking to visit again for future work parties.
Visiting the Wellington, the Royal Oak and the Anchor afterwards allayed any fears my team had that the stadium wasn’t in a good location. It was one of the best nights out we’ve had and far better than the usual Christmas parties where you get squashed in and overcharged.
Well done Rovers and thankyou for such a great night.

I remember we once had a xmas party in the Dolman lounge. Had to get pretty drunk before I could forget where I was.

Are Gasheads really pleased with yet another 0-0. I am certainly not. When is our brillient manager going to sign someone who can actually score some goals. Hopeless.

Think you're on the wrong thread mate Looks like it was done on purpose - if you look at coastalgas posts he is always negative and anti - rovers and often says he doesn't know why he watches the gas - maybe he should just go away

The food all round the ground has generally been pretty good. The Dri-build area is not the worst function room in the world, but it's biggest problem is the lack of disabled access
Certainly one of the reasons we need better facilities, whatever anyone says about too many seats etc in the ground
