what would you do for the re-match at their gaff?
reading today's reports, it doesn't sound like he has a ton of options

Tell the number four not to be a complete bellend. Apparently (according to some bloke on the Welling forum), in a pre-match interview he said that discipline would be the key to getting a result at the Mem.

there 1st half was the perfect negative performance,10 men behind the ball, crowd agitated, hardly any shots by rovers but the wheels came off in the 2nd half and they had a stupid sending off to make it mission impossible

Easy, just hope DC starts again with the same starting 11, snatch an early goal then stick 11 men behind the ball for the 2nd half once DC brings Blisset & co. Oh & tell your players it helps if they all remain on the pitch!

I'd tell them to stop tge stupid / costly fouls for a start.
i presume their sent off man will b suspended for next sat. and wonder if any of the 4 yellows led to a ban for 5 yellows? it was last game to qualify. which was good for us as manse and Taylor were on 4.

Just Jamie Day, so means both of their central midfielders will be missing

"Just" Day imagine how we'd struggle w/o our two central midfielders! I assume we'd have to recall Clark from the stands and pair him with Monkhouse.

AND for us Taylor, Manse and Monkhouse didn't get their 5th!

lets jus hope that Clarke doesnt try any more experiments with the lineup again then. playing Gosling and wall was complete madness and against better opposition could of cost the game.

Whatever the Welling manager does, the key for us is to avoid any complacency. As soon as Blissett scored on Saturday, there was no doubt Rovers would win and it was just a case of how many. However, the picture in the 1st half was much more frustrating. We need to go there with a ruthless attitude and attempt to put Welling to the sword.

Ditto If the FA turned down the Monkhouse red card appeal at Telford, this has absolutely no chance. Is there a penalty for a frivolous appeal? Still, I thought the Barnet defender was a definite hand-ball and the England World Cup bid was squeeky clean. You never can tell with football administration.
