Hi all.... We've just signed Tom Eaves on a month's loan from Bolton Wanderers. Seemed quite prolific with you, any thoughts?

Good player, good signing. I hope he fails miserably though

Fine player - shone brightly for us when surrounded by utter mediocrity.

Excellent striker, don't be fooled by his height, even though he's 6ft 5inc he's certainly no targetman, great with the ball at his feet, skillful and a good finisher. Played here as a lone striker under another manager who had completely lost the plot and will probably never go on to manage again, the effort Eaves put in aswell as his attitude was also very impressive. Not sure why it's taken him so long to find a new club, good luck to him.

It seems to have never really kicked on and seems to have struggled to score during his last loan spell, his siging could be hit or miss for Yeovil.

He certainly hit a purple patch whilst he was with us with a goal every other game, and carried that on to Shrewsbury Town (first period with them only though) with a similar goal-scoring ratio. But since then it's been a bit dead for him, scoring-wise. Still good luck to the player, shame about the club eh?

Hi all.... We've just signed Tom Eaves on a month's loan from Bolton Wanderers. Seemed quite prolific with you, any thoughts? Good honest striker. I'd wish him luck, but the guy with the sign at the end of last season has permanently soured any remnant of goodwill to your team. See you next season!!

If I ever see that b******, I'm gonna quickly whip out my pen and a sheet of paper and write a really insulting note to him, and wave it in his face. Probably something like 'Yeovil: The Heart of the Country, the Mind of a Village Idiot.'
