Cant see why we would go after but i've been told by source (brother of Luton Town player Adam Drury) that we are looking to sign the big striker.
Im trying to find out if this was before we signed Blissett.

It is now being reported at Luton's end. John Still is quoted as saying it's been agreed he will join us today!
Surprising because I didn't think we'd sign another striker. Apparently Wall has something called Gilbert's Syndrome (?) which can affect his movement and how often he can train. Something for DC to bear in mind.

Wall expected to make Bristol Rovers switchPublished on the 27 November 2014 14:11 Hatters striker Alex Wall is expected to join Vanarama Conference side Bristol Rovers before the loan window closes this afternoon. The 24-year-old has been restricted to just five first team appeaeances for Luton this season, scoring one goal, the winner against Stevenage last month. Wall had a similar spell at Dartford last season, netting eight times in 15 matches and Still is confident the deal will go through, meaning the striker will link up with Hatters winger Dave Martin, who is also on loan at the Pirates. He said: “It’s agreed that Alex Wall is going to go to Bristol Rovers. “He’s training, but like last year he needs to go and play now as we were going to include him in a couple of game gone by, but he hasn’t trained. “Because of the form of Ricky Miller, and the form of Charlie Walker, it’s an opportunity for Alex to go and play. “Its got to be done this afternoon, but its been agreed, so it should get done today.” Still also revealed that Wall suffers from a medical problem known as Gilbert’s syndrome that has hampered his ability to train at Kenilworth Road. He added: “Hes got a thing called Gilbert’s syndrome that does affect him and does affect his training. “We’ve known it for a while and he has to go steady with it, but at the moment its okay. “He can’t run sometimes and it’s a thing that affects your legs and your movement. “It comes and goes and there’s nothing he can do about it. “When he’s right, he needs to really push on and it’s a case of managing it. “When he’s playing regularly, which we found with Dartford last year it’s okay, so we’ll get him there (Bristol Rovers) for the month and see where he is after that.” Meanwhile, young full back Brett Longden, who has been at Maidenhead this season, will now head to Southern League Premier Division side Arlesey Town on loan. www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/luton-town/wall-expected-to-make-bristol-rovers-switch-1-6443143

I assume Luton might be paying a big slice, if not, all his wages so he can get some 1st team action, if so, what have we got to lose? I guess this means Brunt's off today?

Just posted on Luton Town website....that he has joined us. Why do we need him? Luton must love us, already paying wages for Dave Martin.

John Still has openly criticised his attitude this season.

Brunt and Harrison must both be leaving then, surely?

Probably a further reaction from DC to our inability to score enough goals so far. In all honesty were the likes of Harrison and White going to get us promoted? "Max" Wall is a big strong lad with a 1 in 3 strike rate in this League. Competition for places hotting up everywhere (apart from LB perhaps) another sign hopefully we are looking to kick on and chase Barnet who are on the face of Tuesday night no better than we are!

I see both Goldberg and Wall as stop-gaps until January when DC can then sign the player(s) he really wants - Tubbs or Easter maybe?
You can never have too many options and many other Conference sides have said Luton got promoted on the back of continually strengthening their squad throughout the season. This will help us in the same way I hope.
Welcome, Alex!

To me this shouts that Brunt and Harrison are no longer required and that DC will not play Blissett a full 90 mins at the moment,Wall and Goldberg will be direct 70 min replacements for Blissett and taylor. Not sure of Walls attitude though ref the link I posted further up the this thread.

I hope we stay clear of Easter, his reasons for being willing to drop to the Conference at 32 or 33 in January, don't sit right with me.

Ive gotta say that this is fantastic.Ok we should not be in this league, but fair play to the board and DC with adding to our squad in recent months and not waiting until its too late.I think if we had better forwards from day one of this season then we would be above Barnet in the league.Ive not seen this type of - for the lack of a better word, investment to our squad since the Holloway days 15 odd years ago.Our overall team is well balanced, hardworking and now adding the quality in wide areas and upfront thats needed.

He's in a position where if either player impresses he can try and sign them permanently in January but if they don't work out he can get someone else in. I personally think he is biding his time to sign his top target in the new year - Easter was just an example.
