Reasonable player but hardly prolific, I'd look for someone else personally.

3 Goals in 16 games does not seem to be the sort of striker we need. That statistic is no better than what we already have.

That's the same goal ratio as Taylor has over his career.

Since is perminent move it's 17 goals in 47 games & it was 7 goals in 12 games whilst on loan plus, along with Adam C(!), he was the Conference top scorer the season before. Not sure who else better we are going to get unless the Tubbs rumours are true but we will have to pay top money for the likes of him plus can we really wait until January without our present misfiring strikers? .

Gash will be a FGR player very soon, possibly by tomorrow.

Gash will be a FGR player very soon, possibly by tomorrow. Going in the next 24 hours apparently so I doubt he's joining us, despite SteveK's views he must be a decent striker if he's better than Parkin & co. I wonder if FGR are trying to offload Hughes to us in order to make room for another striker??

If he is a decent striker then surely Clarke SHOULD be after him because we need someone urgently. I was merely pointing out that he does not have a better scoring record than the strikers we already have therefore wondered why people thought we should sign him. i havent seen him play but I can just imagine the stick Clarke will take if he signs him and he doesn't set the world alight. What makes somebody think that he will be a FGR player?

None of our strikers have a good strike rate (with the exception of Harrison), just unsure why you mentioned Taylor.
