Can anybody tell me how he played today. I was a fan of him, he was the only player who could do something different and maybe change a game. All downhill when he left, and replaced by Gillespie etc.. Who did he upset when at the club. Surely would have been better than Jamie White.

If you read the club's match report on the main web site they speak well of his display.Agree ,downhill after his brilliant display at home to Newport Rare glimpse of class last season. Not sure why he hasn't really established himself.Appears there may be something amiss in his attitude.

I spoke to a couple of Tranmere fans pre-match and their exact words were 'headless chicken when he plays up front or out wide'. I thought the same when he was with us really. He had a couple of runs that ended with a long range shot but nothing major to report. On that evidence and from what I've heard we're not missing much as far as he's concerned.

Never has been and never will be any good. And that's your opinion - but He has more league goals than our current squad in its entirety and if we hadn't done that stupid deal with the injury prone Gow (where is he now?) we'd have had a chance of playing league football this season rather than the park football we are currently enduring.

Yes. It is my opinion. And I am rarely wrong.

Looking for a new cash cow, presumably. I just hope that it ain't here.

Yes. It is my opinion. And I am rarely wrong. You weren't Richard Walkers biggest fan....too lazy I seem to recall! oh for a striker that "lazy" now! Rather than the hard working ones we seem to attract who love running the channels but are allergic to the six yard box.....

Every manager Richards played under at the Mem and there were loads ..none of them really selected him very often as a consistent starter. He had chances to establish himself but poor form and lack of goals always seemed to result in him being used as a sub on more occasions. He was one of those frustrating talents who never fulfilled their potential as a promising young striker.

He was awarded man of the match. So in somebody's eyes he was the best player on show in the Tranmere team

He was with us for years - our longest serving player for a while.
He served under many managers who he failed to convince that he deserved a regular place.
I can only remember one match where he impressed me, and that was the famously abandoned Wycombe game.
I don't know why people harp on about him - he's hardly a jewel that we've let slip.

You didn't cheer when he scored goals or won penalties then?

You didn't cheer when he scored goals or won penalties then? I certainly cheered, but sadly he didn't do it often enough to make me lose my voice...
For me, he always seemed to go missing, and was never able to impose himself on the game.

Can't say I'd agree with that. Won us plenty of frees and a fair few pens.
