Your sarcastic comment amuses me as it implies my post is the reason he doesn't come on here. I take it from your post that you support his lack of engagement. My comment is made after numerous requests to engage with us and silence from him. A specific request was made to members to respect him which in view of recent events is going the extra mile. It is a response to his refusal to engage or to come anywhere near this forum in spite of the size of it's membership and a real desire to engage. If you have any influence then perhaps you can persuade him to speak to us. WRONG

I wonder how much readers of this forum contributed to the share scheme, in good faith.
This guy once came within a few hundred votes of becoming a Member of Parliament (God help us): would he have completely ignored one end of the constituency because that's where the Conservatives live?
All in all, it's rude and disrespectful.
To be fair, it seems a bit unfair that this guy gets all the flack for being patronising arrogant and ineffectual, the other guy gets no flack for being invisible and ineffectual. Then again, is either approach better than the other?
Still, nothing new here.

It baffles me why people defend being sold out and treated shoddily.
To say 'I expect no better' is one thing; to defend and applaud it strikes me as odd.
Then again, so does being non-league.

Perhaps he just doesn't read this forum? Should he read all of the forums and post on each individual one? Seems very time consuming to me, we have Peter Parker re-posting any stuff Brian posts anyway so don't see an issue personally. Its two seconds to copy paste. Thats how long it took me. Sorry, but if he is a fans rep and we are the electorate, and there may be some on here who actually voted for him, then yes he should use all available means of communication. If he is worried about being asked some difficult questions that he might want to avoid, i will lock and pin his communication. Now you're touching on an interesting topic, something I bring up at every election of the supporters rep. Fact is people complain about the job BSS & KM do and then don't actually vote or even become a member of the supporters club but still claim they are the electorate. Unfortunately time & again it has been shown apathy rules.

I imagine, although I don't know for sure because Brian has never posted on here, he is reluctant to post on here because a number of forum members have been very critical of the board (of whom he is a member and of which I have been one of those forum members) and also of his personal performance in communicating with fans. Without him being willing to engage with us on this forum (and there's no reason why he should) then we are going to have to continue speculating why he doesn't. I don't think he is going to lose any sleep over our views as to why he doesn't post here in as much that he was one of those who recommended that the board shut down the Official Forum that had a membership of over 10,500 so he isn't really going to care that much about ours or our views is he ? Out of interest does anybody know how many votes he collected out of the total number of votes available ?

Unfortunately time & again it has been shown apathy rules. Well whether we vote or not we are still the electorate. Nowhere near everyone turns out for a general election. How can Brian talk about he supports open communication and then not use ever medium available. as i said there may be people on here who actually voted for (and against) Brian.

Now there is no longer an Official Forum, BSS should use the tools he has available to communicate with the fans. He chooses to use Gaschat, and chooses not to use this forum, knowing that what he says will be copied here anyway. That avoids conflict and nastiness. It also means he does not want to be criticised and does not want to engage with people he sees as negative.
By doing this, he is seen as negative and unwilling to engage with a significant element of fans who want to express their disquiet about how and why we seem to have dropped out of the Football League.
In my humble opinion he should be willing to face all fans, positive and negative, whether face to face, on Gaschat or on here. There are many positive posters on here, and negative posters on Gaschat. There are some who read and post on both forums, and some who only choose one.
BSS knows all about this forum, and doesn't want to face up to alternative views - that must be an obvious conclusion.
He doesn't have to engage in long arguments with posters on here. What I would have thought, though, in his role, is that he does have a responsibilty to post information about Q & As with the Chairman on both of the main forums.
By not doing so it suggests he is either scared or selective about debate with fans. Neither of which is acceptable in his role.
He could make things so much better for himself, us and the Board by posting important inforation on here and Gaschat, reading comments, taking on board what he thnks might help the club, and trying to make communications better across the whole fanbase.
By ignoring this forum he just makes enemies for himslef.

I understand about PP posting ~ so have I. Do you honestly believe in your heart of hearts that it would take longer than 2 minutes to communicate on this forum to fans who are part of the Share Scheme? Or are people on here lesser fans?It is not that he has said it is too much trouble ~ he just hasn't replied to ANY of our requests. Ah, now we're getting down to it, ha ha. Paranoia. Brilliant. Now that is comedy gold, please do keep posting, you are giving me such a laugh....

Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Nick Higgs days at the helm of the good ship Box 1 are running out, by the middle of next week his tenure over our great club will be in tatters; no need for a "open forum"; we need some one who can deliver promotion not relegation and facilities not excuses. UTG
