How many cows are on the pitch? Ref would appear to have mad cow disease if that helps Fourth official who does this has come on for the injured linesman.Soz ,replied to wrong post .Should have been the comment re not showing how much injury time.

Darrell spoke more sense than the majority on this forum. I like the cut of his gib! Mentioned in barely disguised language that the referee was a clown! "Red nose and face paint".
We go again, COYB.

To be fair Taylor has just done something. Booked! and what did Harrison do? Taylor so awful ,just don't know how he continues to be picked .Puddy did well,Brown didnt have a number on his back.Surprised Ellis was subbed but despite an awful display we got 3 points .Sadly,Trotman and Monkhouse now out in addition to Leadbitter.

That really was crap today! Never going to complain about 3 points on the road, but talk about nicking it! As has been mentioned, Taylor again was woeful! Just how he carries on getting his starts I'll never know!

So another official has gone off injured. Happened at our last home game. So it's true. They really aren't fit to referee! ?

Not a pretty game but we're not competing in a beauty pageant so all that matters is the end result.
We battled well in difficult circumstances (no Mildy, our best defender going off injured, still missing Sinclair, Monkhouse's red card) and restricted Telford to near enough nothing. They looked a poor side to me but you don't go to Woking and win 3-1 unless you have some quality.
We're winning games and some people still find something to criticise, which I find hard to fathom. DC and the lads are in a lose-lose situation with some.
As far as I'm concerned we're in the play-offs without really hitting top form - can't argue with that.

never ever thought this would be anything other than a tough game. If we can be where we are playing like we are then I feel we should all be very optimistic. that said, i agree with numerous previous posters that, on present evidence, harrison is better than taylor

1.Things you may have missed to-day.1.Brown ,no number on his shirt second half????2.When the linesman went off injured the referee re -started the game in -correctly.3.The refs 'Yellow' card looked Green we all thought. 4'.The Beard' who was running around with various errands was clearly limping.4.The fan who confronted DC before the second half began was so wound up that his behaviour forced several people to move away from him. 4.The Telford Keeper when he conceeded the goal had some brilliant banter with the Gas-heads.5.The concourse singing before we entered the terracing was amazing ..Lovely stadium, friendly locals ,one of whom said to me prior to the game 'Please don't beat us by too many'.6.Brilliant day ,awful game but three points.

What did DC say as I thought he approached the fan after he even abused the Telford reserve goalie & coach when they went though their warm up routine at half time? Why can't football stewards deal with supporters who are clearly going OTT, how can a middle aged man act in such a manner anyway without realising he's causing offence?

Mansell also had no number on his shirt after he changed it second half. I thought the ref gave a free kick for Puddy picking up a back pass when the lino got injured, when he restarted by bouncing the ball to Puddy i had to laugh

DC and the lads are in a lose-lose situation with some. As far as I'm concerned we're in the play-offs without really hitting top form - can't argue with that. Not losing Mildenhall made much difference to our outfield performance and Purdey played surprisingly well anyway. Sinclair looks like he could be out for some time so we can't really wait for him to return to improve, as far as Trotman injury we were just as bad when he was on the pitch, in fact McChrystal may well be a better option as all Trotman can do is hoof it forward, even if he does win most of his headers/tackles. Monkhouse red was so late in the game it didn't really effect the performance. If we don't sign some decent offensive players soon the best we can hope for his the Play Offs, one decent shot against the bottom club is a shocker.

Regarding numberless shirts: I've noticed it a few times this season both for ourselves and the opposition. I can only assume that whereas a Football League budget can stretch to having spare shirts with names and numbers for every player, in the Conference it's a case of a couple of blanks to cover all eventualities.

Terrible performance however we got the 3 points and that's all I care about!
Can anyone expand on the altercation between DC and the fan? Don't remember seeing anything!
