Not being funny, but how is the pansie derby of Arsenal and Spurs above the Bristol one? Like the discription says, both sets of fans are middle class toffs on 6+ figure salaries who don't know the words to any songs, hence the lack of atmosphere! the point about knowing the songs is OK, but the reference to toffs and salaries undermines your point by classism IMO

You can apply that to most games in The Premier League! The only decent atmosphere comes from away fans, who in most cases are generally the die hards who go week in, week out! In fact you can apply that to most football clubs in general! I agree the North London derby is powderpuff though! Chelsea V Tottenham is way more heated between the sets of fans, its pure hatred! I would also put Chelsea/Spurs V West Ham above it too! Chelsea V Millwall although they don't play eachother very often isn't pleasant either! I was at Stamford Bridge for the cup game back in 1995! The most intimidated I've ever been at a football match! If you want to beat that then go to a game in Poland. No need to pick Kracow V Cracovia or Legia Warsaw. Just a lower tier game. I don't care how "experienced" people are, they will brick it. Polish hit squad

Jason Roberts brace 2000 about the only decent result in our last ten games of that disappointing season, lord justice must've been in hibernation for a couple of seasons, perhaps he doesn't even know of our famous league capitulation of the 99/2000 season. I'd mentally taped over it with a Pierce Brosnan Bond film.

Utter rubbish. Its the fiercest for those it matters to and it's inconsequential to everyone else. Same as all the others. Yep, there's a lot of truth in that.

But that rivalry is now artificial! Only the media hype it up!

Millwall and pretty much anyone else. Funny thing is one club Millwall don't have an ongoing feud with is their neighbours Charlton. me and my mate thought it would be a good idea to go in the muller rd end must be 85 or 86 when millwall played us. We had a couple of apple juices in the fox then took a walk around, we went in and kept our voices down, nearly blow our cover when gas scored but mate grabbed my arm just before i punched the air, got talking to some lads at half time, told em we were from Bath, which was half true, never said i was gas or half londoner. I asked one lad if they go to any other clubs and he told me they followed spurs away sometimes, for trouble i guess, needless to say i didnt mention the arsenal as i like living. I do remember em setting fire to a big pile of newspapers and as the flames grow the cops moved in cue punch up and helmets flying, game ended one all, and at the final whistlethe bloke next to me punched a police horse, nothing changes, and they were fighting to get out down through the rusty old fences and barbed wire, then trying to get at a few gas under the fly over. A few months later and just before the luton riot they visited ashton so being young and stupid we went in the away end, millwall had a nutty lot down and had already attacked the black horse if i remember right. As we got through the turnstiles it felt like all eyes were on us, and you could see lads thinking there not millwall, so it was with huge relief that we bumped straight into the lads we meet at rovers, what luck, mental day, seats flying out from the dolman, millwall going mad as shaw got lobbed for the only goal, then chaos in the park afterward, the walk back to temple meads was a long nervy one but buzzing inside to see city get beat. arsenal v millwall fa cup late 80s very nervy day as nobody knew who was who, crazy days
