Could be a lot worse. More winnable than some of the top sides in the conference.

Crap draw is sell value, but very good draw/game in terms of us progressing and with where they are in table a test of how good we are.

Up against Gill and Richards maybe. And Danny Woodards? Or is he injured? Richards hasn't been playing for them recently so he'll almost definitely feature in a cup game against his old team. Guaranteed to rip us a new one? Yep.

Crap draw is sell value, but very good draw/game in terms of us progressing and with where they are in table a test of how good we are. Totally agree. Getting humped by the inbreds or another League 1 outfit, or smashing up another semi pro outfit, would teach us nothing. This tie is a great barometer of whether we could hack it back in League football.

Not on a great run.....no win in 6 and 4 defeats. Can't be much between the leagues, Luton on top of the table. Not sure how much they've spent to get there.

Just glad we did not get paired with the sh"t , bad enough with then Still drooling over our demise let alone them getting the chance to rub it in
We got a good chance of a result at tranmere with them not doing that well this season and I'm sure we will take I few up as well

So this game will now be the 3rd of 4 consecutive away games,a tough time financially for the awayday regulars.

I'll be missing this one.
Grim old journey, saw us lose 2-0 there in December 2009 (I think). Coldest I've ever been at a football match, we wore the budgie kit & we were utterly pathetic for the entire 90mins.
Won't be in a hurry to go back to Tranmere, for any reason!

Didn't we win up there when SC was in charge, sparking hopes we might stay up?

Can't be bothered with that one. Save the pennies for Chester in a few weeks I think.

I remember a 2-0 win there on a Friday night in January 2008 with a goal in each half from Andy Williams and Rickie Lambert. Good night that
