Martins turn to miss a sitter. We could easily have had 3 by now.

Gosling, Taylor and now Martin. Three gilt-edged chances ... make that four, Trotman.

Losing at home to Forest Green
A new all time low for this embarrassment of a football club

Good grief, you're not Mystic Meg are you? But I prefer to take that as your half-time prediction, how do you see the full-time result michael? No, he's Mystic Mike (haha) Well in any event, he's right. 0-1.

Gosling, Taylor and now Martin. Three gilt-edged chances ... make that four, Trotman. You missed the biggest sitter of all....Cunnington's header, 6yards out, headed it straight down and bounced up to hit outside of post and bar. Dreadful miss. FGR a difficult spoiling side, we were out done in midfield, 2 wingers are fine if the momentum is there, but Martin is so out of touch it caused a negative effect. We had enough good chances to win the game, but didn't play well. The ref and linesmen were terrible, but it didn't cause us to play so badly, just added to the frustration of the game. We had yellows and a red but they were the physical side, just far too clever for the officials. Great attendance, and as always we balls up when there's a good turn out.

Lets not go over the top. The fact is that we can't be expected to compete with clubs in this division as we only have gates 5 times bigger than most of them. I think we are actually doing remarkably well to scrape by down here on 5-7k gates. I mean, look at that travelling army of 362 away fans today. When was the last time we had an away following like that?

1 win in 5 against pub teams.
And still 7000 people pay to watch it and people on forums think Clarke is the man for the job.
The luckiest board on the planet with a joke of a manager.
We used up our luck scraping past Southport and Woking.

The board have put us where we are no one else, they are the joke and so are you for critisisng the only person in the building able to get team spirit back after being run by a clown for 6 years. The fan base at Rovers is turning into a laughing stock online, we have the Geoff Dunford love in thread who has ploughed and lost all of his fortune into the club, NOT. Plenty of people who cannot wait for Clarke to fail, absolutely pathetic, short sighted and down right thick.

It's days like these thst I am mightily relieved that I decided not to go this season. I don't care how much stick I get from the "real" fans. I have not spent £22 to get in and £25-30 on beer, food etc and no transport costs. I am not depressed for the rest of the weekend either. I DO feel sorry for those who have gone, to witness another toothless display and in front of a crowd that any FL teams would be envious of. I take my hat off to those who continue to go though. I'll be back ince I see movement in the boardroom and when I can get excited about the possibility of tangible change and when I get the feeling that we will genuinely have people in charge who don't take the fanbase for granted.

There's no denying we need a few more attacking players, cannot remember the last game we dominated, maybe the 7-1 against Burton?

Get really sick of these attention seeking types of posts, it's like you feel the club owes you something. We've lost 1 game in 9 and it seems the doom merchants are out in force again.

That really wasn't good today, at all. You will struggle to find a single positive. The standout issue is how s**t scared our boys looked against a physical & streetwise team. We were bullied, simple as that. Gosling, cunnington, Taylor (as usual) and Martin all allowed themselves to be pushed and shoved around like under 14's. It was embarrassing.
Going down to ten men, bizarrely seemed to swing things our way as we seemed to be well on top the last half hour. Well on top meaning, just pumping balls forward to our useless front line. The three sitters from Martin, Trotman and Taylor were inexcusable. As if we haven't been urging for Taylor to be dropped enough, that chance in front of goal today was on a plate and it was a million times harder to miss.
It'll be DC's undoing, to persist with starting him. Not just Harrison, but I also feel for Jamie White. Having to sit on the bench looking on as MT misses sitter after sitter.
Anyway we weren't worth a win today, onto the cup game next week. A golden chance for some much needed goals.

Throwing insults at the manager, players et al after the first defeat in 9 is embarrassing.
Constructively discussing where we need to improve after the first defeat in 9 is encouraged.
What type of poster are you going to be after today's match? The embarrassing one or the constructive one?

I think people will be questioning the manner of the defeat.
We were lazy, disjointed & truly woeful infront of goal. Our level in general play slipped back to last season and that infront of 7,000 is unacceptable.

Plenty of people who cannot wait for Clarke to fail, absolutely pathetic, short sighted and down right thick. That's the attitude that makes Rovers the club that the supporters deserve. I'll repeat it for you as you seem to have missed what's happening, 1 win in 5 against pub teams. Glad you are happy about that. What has it come to when we are expected to celebrate beating part time park outfits like Woking? There were 2 clowns in charge last year, one didn't want to be here, keeping him on was madness, and Clarke was the other one, that alll worked out well, didn't it.
