I'm really not sure why these two countries were allowed to be drawn together. I understand there is a process to allow certain draws to be prevented for this tournament, e.g. Spain v Gibralter, Russia v Ukraine.
With Kosovo a very recent and painful memory, UEFA need to take some of the blame IMO.
Having said that, the Serbian fans have possibly the worst reputation in the world.

That is nothing when compared to a Kracow V Cracovia game. I don't think any of us would want to be at that one.

Would not be suprised if Uefa tried to blame rovers for this as well , seeing we have one of the most dangerous fan bases in the history of football ..... Lol

There was actually four mobs at Pompey as the anti-Nazi league had turned out due to Millwall being there.

Straight after the game UEFA were we're not gong to be making any statements about the game until we have read the match report etc et etc. Imagine if that had been England playing? They'ed be condoning us shameful etc etc. There was big trouble involving Slovakia I think. Saw it on line running battles in the street. Because England wer'nt involved, nothing said about it.

If anyone has any interest in Serbian football give Grobar by James Moor a read. It's about a season he had watching Partizan Belgrade. Outstanding book that'll give you a bit of insight into how Serbian football works.
Russia & Ukraine can still be drawn together however Spain & Gibraltar, Russia & Georgia and Armenia & Azerbaijan can't. I think after this incident UEFA will probably add Serbia & Albania to that list.

Serbia, the Israel of the 90s.
Edit: (my apologies, not football-related)

147th Eternal Derby tomorrow as well, probably not what Serbian football needed after midweek. I'd assume there will be lots of 'Kosovo je Srbija' flags in both ends.

Maybe there will be a semblance of unity at the game, I hope I won't be reading any horror story in the papers Sunday. Hopefully a Partizan win tho! I spent four weeks in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska (Bosnian Serbia) this time last year and I just want to say that Serbs in general suffer from an unjustly poor reputation in my opinion. I had no problems at all whilst I was there, the people I met where super hospitable and I was put up numerous times by different families and had great times with different groups drinking into the night. The only time I was remotely scared was going into a city called Sabac, the 'welcome to' sign also stated 'Enter at your own risk' but I soon ascertained this was most likely due to pollution! Of course what happened the other night was pretty nuts, and they do have some horrible and super-patriotic football fans (got drunk with some too), who rightly have a terrible reputation. It's just a shame it reflects so badly on the rest of the population, a bit like our racism incident the other week actually.
