The window is shut until January, Unless its a player who is out of contract how can it be anything else but a loan signing? Alan gow That name went through my mind, a pay if he plays contract maybe.

Alan gow Surely we need a target man to replace Cunnington & Brunt not another Taylor/White type player? If Cunnington's replacement is a permanent signing rather than a loan player there's surely little chance that Cunnington will also return in January, unless we can offload Brunt?

Oumare Tounkara is without a club right now? I thought he wasn't bad at all, dunno why we didn't want him.

He signed for Stevenage, so not a case of not wanting him?

Slightly off topic but why has Cunnington favoured a tweet about someone's sister liking a black guy?? Seems a bit controversial this week of all weeks?

We're gonna miss him. to clarify: JFK, not the roof. Indeed, and just so we're clear, I put a smiley face after my "just to clarify" post and twice it came up with a grumpy face and question mark!!! ?

Not bothered if he doesn't come back. I guess we have signed Balanta and if he is ever fit, he is going to play at some point. Ellis has been pushing for inclusion. We have a barely used Jamie White and I am sure we can bring in someone as good or better as Cunnington, as to be honest Cunnington doesn't do much for me.
Is he really any better than Matt Harrold who many people were slagging off last year?

I think Cunnington is a decent player. Works hard, wins headers (it's not his fault Taylor is usually in a different time zone), scores a few goals and usually gets at least a couple of good chances a match, and can spot a decent pass like for Monkhouse's goal on Saturday.
I can't see there'd be many better big men available for loan willing to play in the Conference.
Is he technically better than Harrold? Probably not, but he has the advantage that he's usually fit and wants to be here.

As Harrold still a league player and Cunnington's not considered good enough you can only assume those in the know feel he isn't? MH was better with the ball on the ground for certain.

No idea but can you see Tonka accepting an offer from us if a Div 1 side had also offered him a contract? Although given that JW was in charge what's the chances of him offering a pacy striker a contact anyway last summer?

S*d all really, if he's a free agent though now could be worth a try again, we def need a half decent striker/winger if we want to kill games off as everyone keeps saying. I think promotion is pretty possible but we do need a striker if we're losing cunnington.

I'd say we need two goal scorers when/if Cunny leaves ! Only 20 goals in 16 games and Cunny and Taylor on 3 each - it's pretty obvious really. However, we are not a team that creates a lot of chances either - our style of play has disappointed me this season especially after all that Clarke promised in the summer !

Cunnington travels 5 hours a day for training and frankly he is not that good so he will no doubt go back to Cambridge NEXT MONTH.

"he's not that good" well somebody has to take the praise for our 9 game unbeaten run after our shocking start, why not Cunnington? If Taylor had been taking his chances we'd probably be top of the league by now.
