It is a shame, but no one wants to talk about the football on here at the moment!

I do! Pleased with Rovers ATM, plodding along nicely but could do with some more goals.
Saw a Bristol team win 4-0 away in the Champions League tonight which, was just lovely. Well done Bristol Academy!
Looking forward to seeing Jake Gosling get some minutes Ik the wonderful Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

On Tuesday somebody came out with the old cliche that it's the mark of a good side that they win while playing badly. I countered that I thought good teams were supposed to play well at least sometimes.
Having said that I don't care if we win every game 1-0 with most of our goals being ricochets or penalties all season. Just keep winning!

Quite happy to eat my words. I said at the start of the season that I couldn't see Rovers being in the top half at any point. Well DC having been thrown in at the deep end with very limited resources at a club which off the field is a bloody shambles run by deluded muppets has, after a shaky start, turned Rovers into a veritable winning machine. It's not luck. 1 or 2 games can be lucky, but this streak is the sort of luck that you make for yourself, and whether they play like 1970 Brazil or 1988 Wimbledon, three points is three points. It's the ****ing Conference! We don't need to create a masterpiece, we need to get the hell out of here.

The Luton fans told us you can't get promoted playing attractive football. You win ugly in this league.
Bravo Clarke, he obviously knows this.

Those of us old enough to recall the 1990 team will know they had stacks of 1-0 wins with the occasional big win thrown in. Their main strength was the number of late goals scored. Of course, when it mattered, like playing BCFC, we got the big wins!! So I don't mind wins by small margins because if we keep getting them, we will be top on points and our inferior goal difference won't matter. And yes, i am aware we went down last season because we had scored 3 goals less than we needed to stay up and it would be a pig if we missed top spot for the sake of a few goals scored this season. Time will tell.....

You may just may be finally sorting your sh&t out now it seems. All good sides start from not losing and getting into a habit of not losing home or away.

I'm certain that you do approve, don't you? Well, in any event it doesn't matter if you approve or don't approve of BRFC's efforts. Goodbye.

Despite frustrations in the team not playing as attractively as we would want, it is pleasing to note that Rovers are top of the form tables We still are! By three clear points! Interesting to see Barnet are in 9th place. As long as we don't lose next week, we will continue to be top of form chart, then it's only a matter of time before we top the real league if we remain consistent.....no matter what our performances are like.

Barnet fans seem to think they won't last at the top. I don't think they will either.
Just keep the unbeaten run going and we'll hit the top. Torquay's little slip up yesterday suggests that we'll take advantage so long as we don't lose games and keep winning most at home
