Did anyone else at the turnstile end of the temporary shack, midway through the first half hear a single voice amongst the Eastleigh silence behind the goal, shout out:
"Oi Bristol Rovers, you should be ashamed of your support! At THIS level...."
Before being drowned out by the applause of his fellow deluded 'Spitfire' chums. What was on show last night from Rovers supporters, was nothing short of brilliant. They won't see away numbers like that down there for years, if ever. The whole thing was quite surreal, as if WE were in the presence of some huge successful steamroller of a football club. Most bizarre.
Glad we silenced them after Clarke's goal, they weren't heard from again.

Oh dear. The irony of criticising our support when the Rovers fans in attendance would've outnumbered theirs at times this season!

Why did someone on their forum say: 'Ref had a very poor game. Will Puddy is a very lucky keeper indeed'?
Never mind, seems like he handled it outside his area.

Never mind, seems like he handled it outside his area. However he didn't, also worth noting that even if he had there it would have never been a red card... Beastleigh supporter clearly don't understand the rules of football, bless their too poor to watch Southampton souls.

Evenin
It was me who did the bizzare shout last night. You didn't hear it all then Mr dude I did in fact shout.
"Oy board of Rovers. See your support tonight for a conference game Awsome..... How have they ended up in our division they deserve so much more. You should all be ashamed. Playing at this level" To which we started singing "Your not very good" Again aimed at your board.
At no time did I say anything against your fantastic support.

The Spitfires certainly used your aerial bombardment well last evening luckily we had Trotman in our defence.

Very fraternal post that, who on earth organised it . . . and why? But many thanks for clearing the matter up anyway.

I did like their 'Football League and you f***ed it up' chant though!
Fair play. Made I laugh.

Great stewards and the guys in the burger van in our end worked their socks off for us all and they were so polite. I enjoyed the experience but the ref was terrible.

I think we're getting used them now though aren't we But will they get used to us. Muahahahaha That's a very good point KP, and only time will tell of course. But the early signs are not encouraging, I think that the general perception of the officials in our matches so far this season, is that they (like us) are definitely 5th tier. The only hope for us is to get the hell out asap.

Eastleigh may not have as many fans as us but everyone at the club gave us a warm welcome. Same goes for Fleetwood when we visited their place. Its not all about how many fans each team has. Rather than deride them why not show some respect and give them the credit they deserve.
