It's funny really, I don't know why but I always looked for FGR results when we were a football league team. Now we are in competition with each other all my feelings for them have evaporated and I don't have any sympathy for them at all

Probably in the suit'case' along with Gregg Dyke's watch I expect ! interesting there has been a world wide investigation into third party ownership wonder if FA suspended all investigations into UK cases (where it is already banned) until FIFA pronounce on subject massive issue in South America apparently with some countries having 95% of players owned in whole or part NOT by the club they are playing for, indeed not owned by any football club at all.

Big in Italy too where it's been the practice for a long time for clubs to own a % of a player. So a guy might play for Napoli but 40% of him is owned by Milan. They've done it this way for years. Loads of dodgy stuff goes on - we don't hear anything like the worst of it because it only makes the news when there's a wrangle over who owns the rights to a successful player who is due a massive payday. The real scandal is how the one's who don't make it get treated. It's basically just used as a way for agents to rip off very poor families and leave players who don't make it (ie the vast, vast majority) on the scrapheap with very few options.

In italy/spain two teams buy one player dont they and plays for one for a couple of seasons and then goes to play for the bigger club. Perhaps a cheaper way than the big premier leagur clubs not taking a punt on a cheap player and waiting til they have a good PL season and pay 10 or 15m more than it cost the original club

FGR playing high risk strategy as it was the big centre back Luke Oliver, who they'd registered for the previous season only, and forgot to register his for 2014-15. Why high risk, after being told on the Monday they'd played an uregistered player on the Saturday, before sorting it out FGR played him on the Tuesday as well despite the warning.
COnference dont mess about and hate being challenged by people with no leg to stand on.

One thing you have to admire about the powers that be in the conference is that they don't mess about when it comes to passing judgement on matters. The whole FL & Premier league could learn a heck of a lot from the FC in how they handle similar matters. Hats off to them!
