We are in need of your help & support – we have made the book ‘Bright Lights Dark Days’ available to download ‘FREE’ for a limited time only!!
It is available in Kindle format or PC download – ‘FREE’
It is fast approaching the 6th anniversary for the reason why the book was originally written, and as a special commemoration to help mark this event, we are informing all Gas Heads that you can download the book from the link supplied - [see below]. [AUTHONOMY.COM]
I am a true traditionalist and have always favoured the good old ‘paper/hard back’ but have agreed to make the book available to reach as many readers as possible via this new darn technology. Obviously the download is not as polished as the official purchased format, but it is fit for purpose - and FREE!!
All we ask is that as many people as possible download the book ‘Bright Lights Dark Days, by TG Gayner [use the search button] and please ‘click’ the: BACK THE BOOK and MARK AS CURRENTLY READING. Buttons.
You register by following a few simple links, there is no comeback and you can delete at any time, there are also books by other authors available for free, that you might like to read.
NEWS: As reported earlier this year Blue Ocean Media have taken the film rights for the book, and work is ongoing. The book features a short story about our beloved Bristol Rovers [Fans - 1970’s], there is a possibility that the producers will want extras for this particular scene [read about it in the book], so we might be recruiting Gas heads sometime in the future, if events get the infamous Green light. [Will keep you posted] still a long way to go.
I hope as many of you download the book as possible and hopefully return to the site to post a few nice words about its content [fingers crossed]
The download will only be available for approximately 7-10 days max!!
Quick Synopsis
In the cold light of day a solemn vow is made, with it's origins firmly rooted way back in the 1970's and centred around four lads with a pocket full of dreams and a lust for fame and fortune. Harbouring a desire to escape the monotony of factory life they embark on a roller coaster ride to stardom. Under the spell of a hypnotic and enigmatic manager "Barry Sullivan", they step straight into the bright lights of celebrity, transforming their lives forever. They cross paths with Shirley Bassey, Freddie Mercury and Paul McCartney - to name but a few. T.V., radio and national press exposure become the norm, momentarily making them household names. Thunder clouds begin gathering on their horizon bringing a series of tempestuous and turbulent events ultimately leading to a pledge lost in the annals of time being realised. This extraordinary true story takes us full circle, exploring the gritty world of wanna be pop stars, leaving no stone unturned. A plethora of wonderful characters bring this story to life, Bright Lights Dark Days is a beautiful, moving and humorous tale that will stay with you long after the final chapter - charmingly British and simply stunning.
Many thanks
BC.
