This season we are shaping up as a team that will run through walls for each other and there is a great feeling of togetherness. This got me thinking to how the over inflated ego of JJOT might be getting on since his move up the divisions to er Northampton Town. Cobblers fans dont seem too impressed! www.smfserver.com/forums/thehotelend/index.php/topic,10187.0.html To see the thread cut and paste the link into your browser.

Shame indeed. Shame on us for courting a player for so long whom no doubt has talent and an ability to change a game, yet frequently failed to use it positively and influence matches when we most needed it. I was at Fleetwood when we won 3-0. Also at Daggers to see us beat them on April Fools day...both matches he made impact. With hindsight we sold our souls to get him and his goalscoring record apart, offered very little. I much prefer a Sinclair type. We don't miss No'Toole. That's the attitude and commitment that deserves our praise, rather than a wannabe twonk that sometimes decided to show up, but quite honestly NEVER lived up to our expectations of a midfielder playmaker. And the Torquay home match sealed it for me....he just didn't care. Shameful. And shame on us for blindly supporting him, as I felt he held our club to ransom over his childish behaviour. That's how I saw it from the terraces...

If we had someone that cared in midfield instead of a ego, we might have got more points, other people may have scored those goals we will never know. Out of interest how are the others doing, see Mo is doing ok, Gill and Richards are getting games,Woodards has disappeared from the team sheet as has Norwood, lost track of the others.

Most players playing in league 4 only have 1 string to their bow.(Thats why their playing in league 4 & not The Prem) If he could score goals, run box to box breaking up play & play in the middle of the pitch tackling all game he wouldn't be playing league 4...! We had one of(if not the best) league 2 midfielder last season, FACT!

He was another Agogo - a 'star' player at Rovers who believed his own hype and thought that Rovers were beneath him.

The Management team at Northampton obviously don't think he's one of the best this season because he's been left out of the starting line up for five out of their last six matches and didn't get on the pitch at all in their most recent game.

He was another Agogo - a 'star' player at Rovers who believed his own hype and thought that Rovers were beneath him. No, he was one of the best 4 midfielders. No he hoodwinked a few people into voting for him on the back of the number of goals he scored. If he was that good he would have done to a top div 2 team, or even div 1, rather than lowly Northampton. But even they seem too good for him, sad really after the way he performed when on loan with us.
