Has anyone else just watched Points West in complete shock?
Showed highlights of goals for every west country team and then merely shows our result!!!
We have four times the followers of Yeovil and Cheltenham put together. What a joke!
I have gone straight on the bbc site and emailed a complaint and urge fellow Gasheads to do the same.
Regardless of what league we are in we still represent far more of the bbc viewing public then at least two of the other teams yet get far less coverage!!!
Regards One Angry Gashead

Pointless. They along with ITV cannot show our goals. They dont hold any rights. The only goals they can show are games that have been live on BT Sports.
Ali Durden from BBC tweeted earlier this - "Apologies to #BristolRovers & #FGR fans - we don't have access or rights at this point to show your goals."
I dont know why someone couldnt come out at the beginning of the season and say this and not wait until 10 games have been passed!

I guess we could always blame ourselves for being in this mess, they never showed Yeovil, Bath, Weston, FGR etc when they were in the Conference. Though if Rovers can put the goals on their YouTube channel, if the BBC really wanted to, they could just lift them from there?

Is there any way, legally, one could sit in a stand and video the game then post to YouTube?

THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHTS! it was a suggestion only, so don't shout at me... thought that BT did as they screen the live football from non league games. 2+2 ?

Such a boring thread that'll happened every month it'll seem. So boring yet you couldn't resist posting! Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once. BBC have the rights to the Football League (and Premier League) highlights. Bristol Rovers FC are no longer a Member of the Football League. Therefore the BBC do not have access to matches involving BRFC, unless they are previously covered by BT Sport. Sorry if this is confusing.

Some of us actually have better things to do then spend all their spare time on a forum hence I don't know every single topic that has ever been posted. Are you confused that there is more to life than the Internet?

In fairness after many complaints they are at least giving out our scores, along with those of FGR, why it took them so long to manage to do that goodness knows .....

I never thought the coverage was that good when we were in the football league! Why worry about it when you could probably find somewhere to watch them on the net?
